Im not buying anything that Zor-El or Jor-El has said. We've seen Clark continuously lied to and manipulated by both of them. Even Lionel is lying to Clark and he is supposed to be Jor-El's representative

Why didn't Jor-El ever mention Kara or Zor-El to Clark before now? Why isn't Jor-El helping Clark find Kara? Why does Jor-El keep punishing Clark? Look how Zor-El manipulated Kara and she was his daughter. Its all BS. Something definitely isn't right here

I think the FOS Jor-El and Zor-El are both evil and connected. Add the black goo (Brainiac?) to the picture and its easy to see this is a huge plan to deceive Clark once again so he will follow what Jor-El tells him to do

We don't know what Jor-el would have told Clark if he'd gone to his training in Season 2 OR if he'd come back at the beginning of Season 5. It seemed that Jor-el was telling Clark about Krypton's destruction when Chloe called out to him and interrupted. So it's possible that Jor-el was going to tell Clark EVERYTHING. The fortress is a tool for Clark to use ultimately. I guess Jor-el didn't really figure on Clark being so resistant to his destiny. Perhaps the discipline aspect of the fortress was something Jor-el thought of as only necessary in extreme cases and not... once or twice a year. LOL!
