smallville is not a show that can survive on a ****** budget. superman needs to have $, moola, to thrive in his world.

So you completely missed Bizarro, Kara, and even Action, huh? Considering each and every one of those episodes was effects heavy, moreso then most of Season 6.

What's wrong with reusing sets? Do you expect TPTB to destroy sets after they've used them for only one episode?

A lot of times, they do. Set building isn't that expensive.

I think some of the most effectively told Superman stories were in the old 1950's Adventures of Superman. I know it's like comparing apples and oranges to talk about which is better. But to say that an episode of Superman TV needs a huge budget to be interesting is incorrect.

Well, considering most of the George Reeves serials' budget was spent on colorization, the show had a massive budget. Which is something shows don't have to worry about anymore. Before Kellogg's started sponsoring the show, the budget was paper thin.
