They may have Jor-El yet as a hologram but they would have him played by Tom Welling perhaps with grayed hair or something, and have Terrence Stamp's voice. They would have to do some really good ADR on that one.

Maybe they can have Tom Welling play Jor-El, but have his face resemble Terrence Stamp, such as making Tom have the same hair as Stamp's, and the same eyebrow look, and same facial hair.
