Alright we all know this year has had its share of 'lesser' episodes but i think this one finally came through especially with the double-cliffhanger of Grant and amnesia Kara.
What do you think?
And this kinda just hit me but Lana is really starting to annoy me, she has no point in being in the story now...anyone else?

.......It wasn't boring....it was entertaining.....in some ways...when I ignored the Clana emphasis.......and the constant deconstruction of Clark Kent the future Superman..yeah it was...entertaining....a couple of parts made me cringe...but yeah...man idk the last good episode I saw this season was Cure, nothing so far has come close to topping that.

I am enjoying this season, though.

I had high hopes for this episode, and though some mythology aspects were cool, some were just horrible.

I think that the episode was entertaining, had great effects, but the Clark/Jor-El relationship is really getting on my nerves, especially with the way Clark is handling things. As for Lois, who the hell knows what is going on with her. TPTB better get their heads out of their a$$ prior to this strike and fix the mess that they've created in the last two episodes, particularly with the Clark/Jor-El relationship or else it will be a very long Winter, Spring and Summer. I won't hold my breath when it comes to any of the above happening.

I can think of someone else that has no point being in the story. But oh well this is Smallville, and what they do best its throw bones to all the shippers.

I thought it was a good episode except for the Julian thing with Gabrial. If they are just going to throw crap like that into the mix then I can't wait for Clark to get bitten by a radioactive spider and turn into Spiderman

I liked it a lot. The actor who plays Zor-El did a great job. The mythos action was cool and interesting as always and the whole FOS eclipse thing was an interesting threat, blocking off sunlight so Earth eventually becomes an arctic planet like Krypton was
Grant was annoying as usual, but at least we got the twist of him being Julian (or maybe a clone).

If by "its share" you mean "two or three" then I guess you could say that. This is just another in a set of great episodes, including Bizarro, Kara, Lara, and Action.

Agreed. I think Fierce and Wrath have been the only disappointments for me. And when you go into an episode knowing beforehand that your gonna be disappointed, how disappointed can you actually be?
Quite enjoyed this one. Although every time I see an eclipse now, it makes me think of Heroes...

I agree with all of the above. This is the episode I think I have been waiting for. Something that just punches you in the gut and takes you down. I agree about Lana as well. I thought she was out of place there but even then I was not disturbed by her casual appearance at Oliver's place.

I loved Clark and Lara's relationship.
Helen is gorgeous and angelic perfect fit for Clark's mother.
Zore-el is willing to kill his own daughter just to be with Lara
Mention of Blue Kryptonite
even Lara saw lana's evil soul ;)
GG=Julian, great cliffhanger!
need to go on?

it was a pretty good episode IMO. It would've been just ok were it not for Lana's 6-seasons-overdue admission at the end (i swear this season she's smarter than Clark at his best) and jor-el finally doing some good parenting!

I'm enjoying the whole season. With the exception of Fierce, I'd say the whole season has ranked as average or better. That might not exactly sound like praise, but I think that 7/8 episodes this season have been equal to or better than SV's average over the years.
That said, the show's got its problems. It seems to have lost that special quality it had for the first few seasons. Now it just seems like more of the same. Whether they can get that back or not, I don't know.

Triple cliffhanger! "This cannot go unpunished." Frankly, I'm much more curious about Jor-El's ominous warning than I am about what happens to Wanda Detroit.

I thought it was a great episode. They could have dropped the Lana bits, but overall not too bad.
What I would have really loved to see would have been Jor' El possessing Lionel & talking to Lara or some interaction between Jor' El & Zor' El. What would have been even nicer is if Lionel turned back into his Oracle persona when Zor' El attacked him.

It also must be hard to be taken seriously (not you, the person we're commenting on) when one's entire post history from at least the last year, if not more, is nothing but hate and trolling (defined as saying something just to get a rise out of people).

This episodes is pure crap! Who ever came up with the idea of making Grant Julian needs to be fired. That was by far the worst call ever!
So if Julian is alive who did Lilian smuther? Why did Lex repress something that didn't happen? How was Lex, who was what? 13 at the time, able to hide his brother from Lionel? Memoria was of the the best episodes of the series and this episodes craps all over it!
If they wanted to bring back a long lost Luthor why not Lucus? Bringing him back wouldn't crap all over six years to continunity.
WORST EPISODE EVER!

Funny how it's the worse episode ever due to your easily answered questions:
"So if Julian is alive who did Lilian smuther?"
It's smother, and she still tried to suffocate Julian, and possibly even succeeded. We don't know how Julian is back yet, but knowing the Luthors it is likely due to cloning or some sort of scientific breakthrough.
"Why did Lex repress something that didn't happen?"
Again, it may have still happened. Even if he just saw her try to smother Julian but she didn't succeed it still would've been traumatic. And she may have actually killed him still, once again.
"How was Lex, who was what? 13 at the time, able to hide his brother from Lionel?"
Again, possibly cloning. It's possible that Lex is lying to Julian about the whole adoption thing and he actually cloned him. Or, it is possible that, like LEX said, Lionel secretly gave Julian up for adoption and Lex *just* found him.
It sounds like you need to take a step back and take a serious look at your questions, and the fact that they are in fact either unexplained questions, or questions with clear answers that you are just refusing to see.
WORST EPISODE EVER!
Ah. The return of the most tired, cliche phrase on this board. We haven't had much of this kind of crap here lately. Plenty of complaining, but not a lot of loud screaming exclamations stated as fact that the episode a person didn't like is "TEH WORST EVAR!oneone!1eleventyone!!" Thank you, and goodnight.

Instead of everyone trying to come up with possible hypothetical answers to the cliffhanger of Blue, we end up with people that just want to rant and rave about how the show has "crapped" all over a classic, well loved episode like Memoria and how it has ruined Luthor family mythos.
From what I have seen of the spoilers, all our answers will be explained in the next few episodes so can we please stop with the rants? I think the questions that were brought up in the previous episode are interesting. That's the whole point of a cliffhanger. Let's see what the writers come up with before we start bashing them & the episode.

dont pick on Mello. She has the right to be negative. I mean after all we all are here to express our opinions, but more so its not just her that said the show lost its feel after season three, because i feel the same way. Ever since then we have been on the edge of seeing rehashed storylines, love triangles, and less creativity than any other tv show in the modern age. The show also pokes fun at itself by simply being inconsistent with continuity that it established before.

I'm not getting into whatever back and forth argument might be going on, but I'll back up Theshadow about the show having lost its feel. I'm having a discussion in another thread about this very topic. I think the problem is that early on, we cared about the characters. Like in Jitters, I really cared that Clark's party be a success. Now it's just going from one big bad to the next, seeing how Clark defeats them.

i didn't like blue and i don't like where all these other characters are coming from, if it's going to happen it should be done like Heroes instead of some random appearance. I don't see the point in kara and how she can fly right away, etc. I think it's daft. the show started perfect on S1, 2, 3 and now it's just gone off on one. Next we'll be seeing batman on the show!! ridiculous.
just stick to the routes, make him fly and get him on with it!! they're dragging it out so much it's becoming stupid.
and i also think the show has losts it feel completly. It's lost that magic of seeing how clark becomes more and more like superman, he's nothing like superman now and everyone bends the rules cause it's "smallville". Well i thought character development was important in a show BASED on a younger clark kent destined to become superman. they've bent so many rules that they screwed over Clark and given him more big issue's than a homeless guy.

Uh, that would be because she's been to earth, and had been taught how our sun fuels her cells. It was all explained rather nicely in the past couple of episodes.
Like the appearance of Bob, his daughter, and Adam weren't just thrown at us out of know where on heroes?
