So the secret behind Blue Kryptonite was just revealed to us: all it does is take Clark's powers away. Kind of like a a temporary Gold K I suppose. And wasn't the original Blue K just the Green K equivalent for Bizarro. Anyway, this is kind of upsetting, I was expecting more.

Yeah but it makes sence a little. This version wasn't "man made" so it's abilities are allowed to be different.

I'm disappointed in the use of blue-k. I was hoping it would be like steroids to him and a weakness to Bizarro.

yea if they really wanted to srip clark of his powers they should have used gold k and all that. Then bring in blue k when bizarro returns. That is if he still returns with the shorten season now with the strike.

Seeing as though the episode was called Blue, I was expecting it to play a bigger part in the story. I thought it would have some other effect besides just taking away powers. None the less, still a great episode in my opinion.

I thought for a moment it would make him act like Kal-el like in season four.
Although, Clark on steriods would be funny.

I think the reasoning behind the blue K was ridiculous. Oh I'm Zor-El and when I traveled here last time I discovered it. How? How did you discover a Kryptonite that would strip Kryptonians of their powers when your planet hadn't even blown up yet? That's the whole point behind Kryptonite. It's FROM Krypton. It's radiated and that's why they're affected. It's as bad as when we saw that mask from how many seasons back when Lana was that witch. What, it get caught in a wormhole and sent to the past?

^ Yeah but they said that apparently Jor-El already had a Blue Kryptonite "Victory Ring" on Krypton before Krypton had exploded. So maybe there was more rings or blue rocks on Krypton? The problem isn't with what they made Zor-El say but the writer's story.

Who's to know that Zor-El didn't already know the effects of kryptonite, including Blue...

They never called it Blue Kryptonite. Zor-El said it was a Blue Crystal he had found. I am sure the Blue crystals will play into to another storyline.

Kara's Crystal was blue
The Ring had a Blue Crystal
Also then ending was kind of left you "Blue"(mood wise)

True all those points but it did one thing no other form of Kryptonite has done. It fused itself to his finger. The blue kryptonite ring became part of his hand almost and would not be destroyed.

Blue K can come in handy u know...put the ring on Clark! So that u can have some good old private times with Lana. Dun worry! No earthquake this time! No need to worry about it dude! Nooooo worry!

yeah but he would not be able to remove it after he put it on he had to destroy the blue crystal to get rid of it

I wasn't convinced the Blue K was actually K, although affecting Kal-El one would think it has to be a Kryptonian mineral. Zor-El (I thought) said he found the mineral on earth. I was expecting the true Blue K of lore, that it affects Bizarro, we are led down a different path, eh?

Uh, maybe the blue mineral Zor-El found was in that tablet in the men's room...? Ewwwwwww!!!!!!

I still somehow don't think it was K. Maybe some other substance?

I was hoping it would supercharge Clark like Green K did to Bizarro.

Pretty sure there's an interview floating around out there where Al/Miles say that this isn't the last we see of Blue K. Combine that with the fact that they also said that wasn't the last of Bizarro, and use your head to draw a proper conclusion.

I agree. Somehow I remember that being the case on SuperFriends!

Some of us are being rather closed-minded about the blue K. The blue crystal that stored DNA didn't have any effect on Clark - only the ring. Perhaps there more than one kind of blue rock on Krypton!

If this "blue rock" really is blue K, then it should make taking down Bizarro more interesting, seeing as Clark would have to do it without any of his special abilities. It might not be accurate to the comics, but it should make the fight more interesting.

I really don't see Clark searching for blueK as a means to rid Bizarro at this point as he wouldn't want it to affect himself.

And I have to say that I was bothered by the whole "I can't get it off" concept. It was lame and they had no explanation as to why the ring wouldn't come off Clark's hand.

I'm not saying Clark would intentionally try the blue K on Bizarro, he'll probably find out by coincidence that it's bad for Bizarro and only then would use it for his cause.

I agree it was silly the ring wouldn't come off, and that there was no explanation, but hey - they haven't even tried to explain how green K works...
