Lionel kill his own son

I was soo shocked when I heard that grant gabriel is julian luthor but what i am wondering now is why they are saying that lionel would kill them? also since he is julian luthor, where has he been all this time?

I'm quite confused w/ that too. Why would Lionel wanna do that? This whole "Lex's mom killing Julian" story is a facade, maybe there's a big dark secret behind the Luthor's past, evil old Lionel prolly had something to do w/ it.

I dont think Lional would want to do that. I Think its lex's way of scaring Julian to stay secret and under his thumb. I think Lex doesnt want to share an inheritance either lol

I thought it looked like she smothered him and Lex saw it. But I wrote this on another thread-What if the writers are going to come up with that Lionel thought that Lillian (?) was so mentally ill and she might indanger the baby? Remember he got his secretary pregnant and she thought Clark was her son? Lionel had her committed, a favorite in Smallville and had the baby adopted and he said the baby died within a year. Are the writers going to come up with that he switched his illegit. kid with his true heir, so his heir would not get injured? I know there are a few years different, but it has never bothered smallville writers before.

This was the worst part of the whole episode. THE KID WAS DEAD. LILLIAN KILLED HIM. Buh. Makes me furious.

If Lionel really did throw Julian out into the cold, like Lex said, then WHY DID LIONEL ALMOST BLOW HIS BRAINS OUT IN MEMORIA OVER JULIAN?!

So what you're saying is that the real Julian is dead, that Lionel renamed the real Lucas as Julian, and that the Lucas we saw in Prodigal is not really Lucas, but instead some guy Lionel got to hold onto Lexcorp & prevent Lex from taking it back?

What doesn't make sense is how Lex would buy that if he ever found the real Lucas according to your theory (aka the fake Julian aka Grant), which he supposedly did according to Blue.

I also do not think that Lionel would kill Julian! Maybe there is a more darker Luthor - secret as we thought!
I mean in season 3 we saw what happened in Lex's childhood and is was really not easy for him (Lex).
Maybe Lex told Julian a wrong story about Lionel!
