Speaking of blue, why is it that Clark can go through fire and to the north pole but he needs his blue jacket to walk from the house to the barn when he hears someone calling out?

That was too funny. He looks out the window and is wearing a T short but when he walks into barn he has the blue jacket on.

I agree! I made a post about that somewhere else a while ago.. "Why does Clark wear jackets?"

To a certain extent, it's so that people think he's normal. But from the house to the barn.. no one is going to see that.

ya that does make sense now that you put it that way. he doesnt need jackets since everything feels pretty much the same to him. guess he just like his jackets. cant blame him for that lol.

Since none of us have seen the episode yet (except perhaps our neighbors to the north), there's nothing to make us "blue" about the episode yet, but I'm enjoying the discussion on why Clark always wears jackets!
As far as that goes, he only has 2 or 3 different outfits. Is that because he's a farm boy (notice that since Martha left town he's driving the Dodge truck again?), or does he have several sets of clothes that look exactly the same? He's kind of like most cartoon characters in that he always wears the same thing, but I suppose that's appropriate. I guess his clothes would last longer than most people's (except when he goes through an explosion or a fire - he must have backup clothes for those times), because of his aura which makes him not get dirty or sweaty.
When I think of being "blue", I think of that one time Batman sang "Am I Blue?" on Justice League Unlimited: "This Little Piggy". I don't suppose they could fit that into Smallville...

Then again, Clark was cursing in German and that was hard to understand. :(

But it sounded pretty cool, so I can be happy about that. :)

However, it was exciting when she was attacked by wolves. :)

Although she wasn't given ice cream in the hospital. :(

But she did receive a nice dish of rice pudding. :)

The rice pudding contained preservatives. :(

The preservatives whitened her teeth. :)

Let's just pretend he used the caves to get to the NP.....that's what I do now..just...insert my own plots to fill in the several holes this season has presented.........but seriously......Clark making the SAME mistake made me blue...Clark defending LANA made me blue.....putting so much emphasis on Lana's "DARK SIDE" made me blue when the only character I wanna see with a dark side is LEX.....thank God for that ending with Grant Gabriel/Julian Luthor.....
