This thread is for the posts regarding missed opportunities you saw as a viewer & things that you would change looking back to improve Blue (if you had the power to).

Based on the director's cut, I think they could have done better things with the blue crystal, but I will reserve judgment until after I see the episode. I hope we get a lot of answers that we've been missing. Kara in the FOS will be interesting.

One thing I had really hoped would have happened was once Clark pulled out the blue crystal from the console, we would have gotten some banter between Zor-El and the FOS Jor-El. Are they the same person, or is it really Zor-El in there using reverse logic on Clark?

I'm guessing it is Jor-El in there. But a Jor-El to Zor-El conversation would have been great. Or Jor-El to Lara. I really wanted to see her reaction to the AI version of Jor-El.

I hoped for Zor-El/Jor-El banter but not then... at the moment he removed the crystal I hoped Lara would speak with Jor-el. I wanted the Zor-El/Jor-El banter when Zor-El confronted Lionel.

Grant should have been Lucas Luthor.

You mean Lucas Luthor after plastic surgery?

I'm guessing that Jor-El was incapacitated when the blue crystal was inserted if it is him in the FOS. If it's Zor-El, then the AI had no reason to talk since he already had a body.

Hopefully we'll get some answers to what is really going on.

I think it would have been awesome for Jor-el to have inhabited Lionel as soon as Zor-el entered the room. Like the sight of him brought out the Jor-el in him.

^^That would have been interesting. But it's possible that while the blue crystal was plugged into the FOS, Jor-El was inaccessible even to Lionel's brain.

What would have been more interesting is if Lionel went into Oracle mode & showed Zor' El a thing or two in the FOS. Or even Jor' El possess Lionel so that he could talk to Lara.
