Also you could say that Adam is in fact the first (or one of the first) people with powers, and over the 400 years he has had many descendants, and that is where all the current Heroes have come from. After all he is called Adam...

Yeah there's a good possibility of this being true, especially given that Elle was shown talking to her father about Peter on the phone not too long ago, so it stands to reason that now the father will deal with Peter himself since Elle apparently failed in whatever her mission was. ("If you want something done right, do it yourself.")

And yes Adam being the progenitor of the "species" is also likely, especially given the name as you say.

Interesting side note, the name "Eden" can be traced back to the Garden of Eden story no doubt. Eve must have had a "persuasion power" similar to Eden's to make Adam eat the forbidden fruit.... :lol:

Also keep in mind that kids haven't been shown to necessarily have the same ability(s) as their parents on this show. Look at Micah for example.
