Couldn't Lana be pregnant

I was just wondering couldn't Lana end up caring Clark's baby? I didn't watch the whole sex scene so i don't know if they used protection. But wow, if they didn't i don't really see how she couldn't become pregnant. :eek:

Now that would be a disaster! :eek: I would officially stop watching Smallville it that were to happen. But I'm sure the writers wouldn't that stupid. :lol:

AlMiles can get away with a lot of crap on this show, but there's NO way a Clana pregnancy can happen. Not only it would be totally ridiculous (wasn't the stupid fake pregnancy enough?), but Bryan Singer has already taken on this responsability to develop a story where Superman has a kid. I doubt they'll go there.

There aren't enough positive sex role models out there on TV. If they were going to have the future superman have supersex on the barn floor at least they could have used him as a positive role model and mentioned using a condom... I was highly disappointed with morality in this episode. Superman is supposed to be a VERY highly moral individual. I hate to say this, but Lana's a bit of a tramp, isn't she? She tried to seduce Jason, but he refused her. She slept with Lex before marriage, and thought she was pregnant. And now she's banging Clark before marriage, more than once and she COULD be pregnant.

I know what girls around here are called when they start sleeping with every boyfriend and keep getting pregnacy scares each time, and it rymes with HUT!

Actually, we were given that much information! I nearly Sh!t myself! :lol: they showed close ups of the barn's roof with holes in it! then Clark later coming down the stairs pulling on his shirt and saying he'd better take care of repairing the damage they caused to the barn :eek:

And they weren't on the barn floor, they were in the loft. :)

I thought the whole thing hilarious, a little sexy, but thankfully we weren't given all of the Clana goo-goo eyes and snuggly-wugs *ugh!* . All we actually saw of them was the kiss and him whisking her off so it was quite bearable and enjoyable. :)

I know these writers are dumb but I dont think they will copy Singers mistakes and bring another child into the mix; plus wasnt Lana pregnant last year? Pregnant by two men in a year? Didnt Lana have a son? When I was growing up watching Superman movies, Lana had a son. We never knew who the father was. We all suspected Superman. He didnt even know either. I think Superman found out that he had a 9 yr old son after Lana had died.

Superman never had kids with Lois.

I'm not so sure about that. They never explained how the clone was created. Was it actually inside her body and removed in Combat? Dr. Langston did call it a pregnancy (though not a normal one).

I'm not saying the clone is still alive/around, but we don't know its origins or why it was even created. It's still very possible that Lana was pregnant and Lex's doctor in Combat did such a thorough job that it didn't even look like she was pregnant when the doctor in Progeny examined her.

The only thing though is that Lana never showed any signs that she was expecting.
