The exchange between Chloe, Lana and Clark in the house was really funny too!
Chloe: What do too many earth quarks have to do with you guys?
*Lana gives Chloe a look*
Chloe: (Looks over to Clark) Oh.
*Clark smiles*
Chloe (Turns to Lana and whispers): I thought you said you couldn't...
Lana: (whispers back) Yeah, we normally can't.
Clark: (Surprised) You guys talk about this?!
Lana: (Embarrassed) What? It's just Chloe...

She took of her sweater... she didn't strip at all!
And Lana was like a kid at christmas with his powers.
I wish they had shown more, like with "Mortal".
They sexiness was definitely lacking even with the kisses. They werent even Clark and Lana like kisses. The only time it was a little sexy was when Lana kissed Clark in the kitchen -- other than that the sexy was definitly lacking.
But oh well -- the sex was earth shattering.

That's SV's logic for you. If everytime Superman has sex, this would happen, Lois and Clark would have already destroyed half of Metropolis. lol It's pretty silly.
SecretzNLyz15
11-07-2007, 09:19 PM
Actually it's cute. It's supposed to be out of control because BOTH have abilities. Clark and Lois don't have powers together. That's the difference. The sex happened in the barn, not the house.
Kreukie
11-07-2007, 09:21 PM
It was in the barn, which did get destroyed.
You have to remember it's two super beings having sex.
Next time Clark has sex it'll be with a human and he won't be able to go all out during it, like he did with Lana due to her not being able to get hurt at all during it.

Clark never seemed to have an issue before or in Wrath.
I'm sure they're working up to it and seeing Clark's limits.
There's other things they could be doing that doesn't have to be the actual act of sex.

That's why he didn't say anything when Lana asked him if he ever did something that may be beyond his mortal.
Thinking about killing someone and actually getting close to doing it about four different times would be just that!

Seriously! Chloe just accused her of things and didn't even ask why she was so upset.
I guess they're just going to drag it out as much as they can, then once it out in the open they're going to be slapping their foreheads in understandment.
Then Clark will do another attempted murder towards Lex.

When Lana was herself and had the chance to kill Lex, she was able to stop herself for doing so.
Lana with Clark's supers was like Clark on Red K, she had to be stopped.
Seems like whenever someone gets Clark's powers from Clark himself they get out of hand with them and do things they normally wouldn't do.

The pregnancy thing? That's kinda given a little importance right? I would think that YES a fake pregnancy and miscarriage is enough to go on a pissed off rampage. The cloning just added fuel to the fire.

I don't think that that scene was a bad Clana one. Both were completely honest with each other about how they feel. Lana doesn't want Clark to see her as perfect and innocent because she knows that she's not. Clark said that he doesn't recognize her, and that's because he's always had that perfect image of her. Be happy antis, Clark doesn't see Lana as being perfect anymore. Be happy Clana fans because this is the start of complete honesty between these two and Clark knows how Lana really feels about Lex and what happened to her.

Also when she said that, did she know how he was keeping them in cages? Because it seems once she started spying for Lionel and found out some stuff she didn't know whatsoever she wasn't approving of Lex at all, like with the Aries project.

There's only one time Lana seemed anti-freaks and it was that one time in season three when she was attacked by one and her and Chloe came up with a theory that every time someone was exposed to meteor rocks they would always go off into the deep end and try to kill someone. Which was true then still true now, seems like only a handful of meteor freaks end up being harmless.
But even though with that Lana still has defended them. Such as in episodes like Nocturne, Visitor and Freak to name a few. And of course Clark, whom she always assumed was a meteor freak and she still befriended and loved him even though. Now that she learned what Lex was really doing with the affected, she's taking action to help even more now.
paolinki25
11-07-2007, 10:24 PM
Well, if you want to "protect yourself" against them, then I guess she approved whatever Lex was doing to "protect ourselves against them" Either way, it was forgotten as everything that Lana has said that could make her look bad has in the past, so no need to bring it back.

Lana isn't taking responsibility for her actions, she's blaming them on Clark. She did everything to protect Clark, who didn't ask for, give approval for, or particularly need her "protection."
She's not apologizing for trying to kill Lionel, even though she knew before the kidnapping that he wasn't a threat to Clark and was in fact trying to protect Clark. She KNEW! She kidnapped Lionel for revenge and is lying to Clark about it. How is that taking responsibility?
How dare she ask him if he will love her no matter what? She sure as heck didn't love him that way. She would only love him
on her terms, if he did everything she demanded of him.
The statement that she has to live with the consequences of her actions is a joke. She committed the actions, but has been depending on Lex, Lionel, and Clark (and everyone she asks to lie to cover up her actions) to protect her from those consequences. Otherwise, she would be in jail.

After six years of being attached by people who are affected by meteors, you too would be for any project that's built to solve whatever issue people who have been affected by meteor are having... which I'm pretty sure that's what Lana assumed that's all Lex was doing.
Because by Freak she seemed to know the full story.

As I recall, Lana wasn't so much supporting anti-FOTW measures as she was agreeing with Lex that there was an alien invasion that needed to be stopped. And I think she said or implied that anything they had to do to protect themselves from the aliens was acceptable. I think it was in Arrow, when Lionel (on instructions for Lex) tries to trick Lana into betraying Lex. I believe that's the one where she threatens one of Lex's scientists. At the end Lex asks her is she wants him to stop what he's doing, and she says, no, she wants him to step it up. Not exact words, but more or less her meaning.

Woah, what? She's asking Clark to love her WITH her flaws. She knows that Clark sees her as perfect. She's not denying what she did either. She sees it as protecting Clark, but she's not going to back down for what she believes. She is taking responsibility, but she's saying that she's not going to apologize for it either.

There's another interesting scene that shows that Lana rage gets worse the more she has Clark's powers. Lana normally wouldn't get out raged over, over hearing Clark ask Chloe to watch over her, yet in this episode she does and it freaks her out.
So like I said before, Lana almost killing Lex in this episode is no much different then when Clark was on Red K and almost killed Lex.

Oh, will that makes sense after what she witness and was put through in the season five premiere then with Zod I can't really blame the girl for being all for figuring out a way to stop them!

Couldnt agree more, when I saw that youtube clip I thought the same.Even tho she says she has to take responsibility for what she did,I doubt it.
I agree about the lionel thing, she did that out of revenge not to protect clark. And I dont think clark truly bought it in that scene, even he questions if they can bounce back from all thats happen.
He even compares her way of thinkin to lex,the prob I have is clark blames her attitude change on his decision to split wit her/lie to her in s5.But lana has to take full responsibility not sum...
The only thing lana said that I agreed wit was clark has to stop takin blame for everythin jus so he can keep the image he's built of her up.Once clark gets pass that he'll move on

She is NOT taking responsibility. Lex, Lionel and Clark are shielding her so that she isn't held responsible. What consequences has she faced? Well, if there's something I learned with this show is that they can't have a romantic couple be happy for an entire season. It's just not their way of doing stuff, and well, Clana has a pretty bad record. They have their moment of bliss, and then their moment of pain, suffering and angst. It's a cycle AlMiles love, because for some screwed up reason, that's what they believe makes good tv. How Clana will last is still a mystery, and until I actually see it on screen, I guess I cannot trust any spoilers, even if it comes from The Pope himself. lol

Which is what Clana fans do! Hence why when we say Clana will be together later on we mean before Clark leaves to become Superman, as in this season, as in sometime in the next few months.
Seems like whenever a Clana fan gets all giddy over Clana someone has remind us that Clana don't end up together. It's almost like they do it to kick us off our high when in reality we're pretty damn aware of that fact.

Yeah, they COULD end it but when they do, Clark and Lana won't be in bad terms and that's more than enough for me.
As long as they are given a real shot in their relationship and they both can come to a mutual understanding in the end, then I accept them not being together romantically and just be great friends.
I have a feeling Goughlar won't disappoint though. They won't have Clark hating Lana. They'll probably have their relationship be as close to canon as they possibly can at the end of the series.

No, but seriously now, I find it interesting that the only two times Clana sex has been brought to the show, like you know, clearly (not hinted or anything) has been when either Clark lost his powers or Lana got his powers. It's like they only way they can write Clana sex is with the help of a loophole. I wonder if this is some sort of DC restriction or something. I'd be quite surprised if after this, they show any more Clana-sex related scenes.

I just re-watched Relic tonight, to check up on a possible connection to a spoiler. I noticed that Jor El and Louise didn't seem to be having any problems. He told her he was an alien, too. And took her flying!
I haven't seen the episode yet, but it sounds like they didn't use "protection," this time, as they said they did the first time. I understand that in the comics, Lois and Superman have a child, so I guess it's possible for humans and Kryptonians to interbreed, which of course shouldn't be. So might we have another pregnancy scare?

Not that I'm thrilled with the clana sex, but I'm not exactly surprised. TPTB have been leading up to the premise of clana sex (well rather more of Lana wanting to have some nookie as indicated in Action when she hinted about other activities that burned calories or something like that) And I was expecting TPTB to pull something like this because as other fans have noted, there wasn't a lot of clana kissage in the previous episodes. It was only a matter of time.
I think it works well for everyone. The clana fans can revel in the fact that their fave couple had super-sex. Meanwhile the non-clana fans didn't have to be subjected to per episode constant clana mackage or the actual visual of clana sex
I found it funny that now we know they have a nonexistent sex life normally.
How would they explain the he and Lois can do it later? Is Clark just still afraid to do it with Lana cuz of his powers? We could assume that Clark eventually develops the confidence and the finesse to have sex with a human. Right now SVClark has some sort of performace anxiety
Now the question is, will Clana still try to have sex when Lana's powers disappear?

Wasn't she holding something too and then dropped it when Lex planted one on her? Like she was mesmerized for a second there. Come on admit it, deep down inside you loved every second of it!

Wait...this post is a joke right? It has to be? That's like when everyone was saying the Chlark kiss in Vessel was passionate.
Anyhoo, the Clana scenes from this episode never get old for me, even the last one, which I don't mind too much because I'm happy with all of the honesty we're getting between them.

Oh this is no joke my friend... Okay maybe just a little. But I still think there was some passion there, once you go cueball there's no turning back, y'know what I'm sayin'?
On a side note I didn't mind the Clana scenes in this episode, nice to finally see them kiss, to show us that something is actually gonig on between those two.
The title of this thread still makes me laugh.

Right. It was so hot I had a hard time containing myself.
Wanna know what I, as a female would have done? The same thing Lana did. Except I would have kicked him in the nuts and spit before wiping my mouth of the yuck. Other than that I would have handled the situation like Lana.
Lex thinks he always has the upper hand over people. He was trying to play her. Why not play too if you are the girl and that guy doesn't intimidate or scare you anymore. I would have done the same thing. Let him kiss you long enough so he thinks he has won again. That he was right. Touch him a little and move your arm up slowly enough so he doesn't see the throat grab coming. Then go in for the kill and squeeze to get his gag reflex going just like he is doing to you. It's called using the weapons of a woman. Play weak. Let him think he won. Then shatter his dreams. Really as simple as that.
And THAT is what I saw.

I'm not getting defensive. I just obviously don't get the humor of certain parts of the fandom. Not the first time this happened today. If you people used smilies and actually worded your post funny then maybe I could see the humor. But when something is posted like a regular comment and no smilies. Guess only people who know you or come from your fandom would actually understand it.
Guess it's just not my kind of humor.

Hey I used one of those little laughing smilies, like this  I thought that meant I was joking, but oh well we're making a big deal out of nothing here anyway. I was just teasing since I know you're a big Clana fan, which is okay by the way, I'm not a shipper when it comes to Smallville so I don't care what or who people like, doesn't bother me. The only ship I like is the one in my avatar and they're not even on the show. So no hard feelings right? :)

About "repairing the barn"...
Remember the Smallville titles when John Schneider was playing Jon Kent?
The iconic image behind him was always the weathervane on the roof of the barn.
In the episode when Jon fell off the roof, he was trying to fix the weathervane.
John and the producers and others all mentioned that weathervane was symbolic of Jon Kent as Clark's "Moral Compass"
Now, I'm afraid, the weathervane, Clark's moral compass, is lookin' a little *ahem* flaccid.

I have to agree and after all the tragedy that made season 6 what it was, it made me want to puke when i saw that lexana kiss. And the fact Lex said she still has feelings for him made me even more gross out; i had to relook everything last season that made it so terrible.

The whole beginning of the episode was awesome, but the Smallville Shakin' Love Makin" was the topper!! I couldn't help but laugh during that scene, but it was great! I was thrilled with Clana kiss(es) that finally happened, but the rest of those scenes were totally unexpected and brought the whole thing home. Okay, I don't want to get in a whole debate, I just want a simple answer.
Why can't Clark have sex if he has powers? If he can control himself, like for example if he were to spit out a peice of gum. He could spit it REALLY far, but he could also have enough self control to spit it out gently.
Is that wrong? Why does that differ from sex? I mean, I know to a certain extent you can't control how far your ... you know.. but still.

This is a little difficult, but let's say that ClarkMan is really enjoying a piece of gum, in that case he will spit it out really, really far, he won't control it. If it is a hoo-hum piece of gum and not very flavorful and enjoyable, he might not even spit it out at all.

That kiss lasted a little too long for her to be utterly disgusted, if she truly felt that way she would have stopped it the second he planted it on her. Instead she dropped whatever she was holding (I can't remember what it was... It's really bugging me actually lol) and embraced the passion that ensued as their lips locked in perfect unison and bliss! Sure she came to her senses eventually and realized what she was doing, but you can't deny that she liked every second of it while it lasted!

Look, it's like this. If Clark has sex with a non-powered entity one of two things is gonna happen:
1) her pelvis will explode
2) her head will be blown off
As I've said many times before, it would be like sticking a shotgun up there. Those quakes that shook Smallville? For all we know, that was the... umm... climax of events.
Can I say orgasm on this forum?
Anyway, now Lana's definitely pregnant. There's no way his super-sperm can be stopped.

Damn, that was the loudest sex ever. I have to admit it was the first time in Smallville that i was laughing do hard that i was crying. Like i said before "Clark needs to get laid" and he did. Hard sex.

so... i get that he's not human but the parts are all the same, so why couldnt they? any speculation as to why they couldn't 'do it' ?? i mean semi-realistic speculation...
i get the abilities and all that, but i'm pretty sure superman has a son in the movie (with abilities by the way) so what gives exactly? cuz in the movie, if superman was 'human' when he was with lois, then their son would be too.
this might be a dum subject, but im just curious as the the thought process behind "normally we cant"

Well.. at least they can just go to the USGS site and print out the report on the quakes for posterity.
That was seriously the funniest moment on tv in a long time.

Yeah Clark must have had some super sperm especially since he hasn't had sex in like 2 years. And now he will never have sex again.

Well....we finally found out why he can't do it with a normal Earth girl. Lois was lucky that they didn't go all the way in Crimson and even Alicia is lucky. They would've gotten a big surprise.

what surprise ? lol
Honestly, that scene had me laughing out loud so hard ... and that's rare for me during a SV episode.
Sure, the sex-quakes were a little extreme, but for humour's sake, I liked that it gave me the chuckles hehe!

Clark and Lana may be able to have this half-assed "super sex," but Clark and Lois do it on the ceiling.
I'd much rather do it on the ceiling. :D

Well, I thought the super sex implications were funny. :p It is TPTB's way of allowing a real relationship for Clark & Lana by allowing them to have sex, cause otherwise he can't with her. Kinda funny. Didn't make much sense, but most of this ep had me asking 'what the hell?'...

How come Jor-el was able to have sex with Louise without uhm, causing damage? And apparently Naman was able to have sex with a Kawatche female because they have descendants (Kyla). So what the heck is wrong with SVClark?
My interpretation is SVClark is so unconfident with using his powers, you could even say inept (hello! he can't fly!) that who knows, SVClark may actually cause some damage to a normal female, if not by the act itself, then perhaps by accident caused by his nervousness (like accidentally falling on a normal female if he uncontrollably floats  ) So until Clark learns to master all his abilities, sex with a human female while Clark has powers, is out of the question.
This applies for SVClark only of course since other Clark incarnations don't seem to have this type of problem.

In my humble opinion, when Clark would have achieved a climax, a woman without Clarks powers would be killed from the inside out.

That opinion, while entertaining, has been proven wrong by both movies and comics, which are way more canonical, obviously, than Smallville.

That scene was awesome.. I had such a smile on my face.. and then the writers had to screw it up by making her Evil! WHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!
Screw ISIS, Screw Lex, Let Lana keep the powers a few episodes and get naughty with Clark. That sex scene was one of the sexiest sceens in the series since Alicia was with Clark.
You bastard writers!! You frustrate the hell out of me!
And get rid of that Grant guy.. Queen was a way better guy for Lois!

More like the US is a bunch of sensative pansies, or it could have been way better. I am sure all the parents of the youngins are whining like brats that it even happened. They already ruined the Superbowl commercials.

omigosh, I was watching that scene with my dad. I gasped and said "that is so wrong" and he didn't get what was happening....I didn't explain it either. I was so embarrassed to be watching that scene with my dad.
though still, absolutely freakin' funny. I am still laughing. That is the only thing that made me not hate that episode with a loathing passion.

If you had a sexy girl wanting to have earth shattering sex with you, and you were all alone.. and in a relationship with them? Sorry but you would not say that is wrong, you would be doing the same damn thing lol! Clark is my Hero!

No wonder Clark is so happy he feels like he can fly in a later ep. He got that two year wait out of his system.
Now he can go easier on Lana after she loses her powers; and they can find a more gentle way to 'work things out'.

I always think it is funny that Lana thinks sexy is a flannel shirt.
