Bob...whats his last name? Hmm.....

Nathan recognized Bob in the Company picture
he said "His name is Bob...Bob...i cant remember his last name"
something along those lines
Anyone have any speculation as to what that last name is
Its obviously important/connected to something or someone

One would guess it has to be a last name we have already heard otherwise why keep it secret? I can only think of one character whose last name we know that is missing something in the, say, dad department. So, currently, I'm thinking his name is Robert Gray. But I could be way off base with that, just a guess really.

He looks like he couldve been a watch maker
even sylar's father
i also believe he's Elle's father
which could make her sylar's brother
that would be twisted

yea ive seen that
anyone who's gone against sylar has had a real reason to
he killed charlie so hiro went after him
he led agent hanson on for months so she went after him
peter had to save claire so he faced off with him
if the possibility of him being related to elle is reality then maybe there in lies a reason for her to face off with him
i just hope he gets his powers back

It was mentioned on one of the commentaries- I forget which, but I think it was Jack Coleman who was commenting on the various folders in Bob's office, and stated that Steven Toblowski looked up Bob's folder to figure out his last name. I forget what it was exactley, but it wasn't a name of any established character.

Assuming such things are correct in there, it wouldnt be beyond the realm of possibility with this show to put in fake info.

True- or the folder could have just been another guy whose first name was Robert that has nothing to do with our Bob, and Steve Toblowski and Jack Coleman just hadn't realised it by the time of the filming of the commentary.

I remember watching that. It was from Fight or Flight. Greg Grunberg said that Bob's file is listed as Robert Bishop.

Some of the actors like to frequent the set because it's the only location that lists a last name for some characters, such as Bob (who is listed as "Robert Bishop".) I just watched those sneak preview clips for Monday's episode and paused it at the right time. It looks like they're keeping the name.
