2 Smallville 4.38
3 (t) America's Next Top Model (clips show) and Supernatural 3.24
5 Reaper 2.60
6 Everybody Hates Chris 2.44
7 The Game 2.42
8 Beauty and the Geek (cs) 2.30
9 Girlfriends 2.25
10 Aliens in America 2.01

12 ANTM (cs) (R) 1.13
13 Life Is Wild 1.07
14 AIA (R) 0.91

--

The last ep. that had a lot of Lana in the trailer did pretty well. Maybe "Wrath" will too. Hopefully, it can rebound from last week's numbers.

Wow, well I'm glad to see The CW's numbers were down all-aroudn last week and it wasn't just Smallville. Hopefully this week will bounce back but judging by peoples' irrational hatred of anything with even a hint of Lana I somehow doubt it.

So much hate directed towards a fictional character. Is it healthy?

I was thinking the same thing about tonight's ratings, but then, like I already said, "Fierce" didn't do bad.

I think that may be the problem. Ratings are just down for the CW, so fewer people are seeing the promos.

Good things: First ep. this season to not air in DST. MNIE was down to a half hour again.

What promos other then the CW????? Would like to see them use other means to get the word out, how about other TV stations or Entertainment Weekly!!!!

Take care,

IMO, and I don't think that I'm being a 'dummy' here, I feel positive that Smallville's Ratings as well as The CW's Ratings overall would be Boosted if There Were MORE PROMOS...PERIOD! I have to DVR/Tapt shows airing on The CW on nights I don't watch much TV just 'Hoping' to see a Preview of Smallville. It seems to have the Least Promotions out of all of The CW's programming lineup, And that's on the network that's airing it! Forget about any other channel! Something is 'AMISS' with The CW's Advertising & Program Promotional Planning Campaigns. Their 'tactics' , for Smallville especially, seem to be without enthusiasm. I am also sure that THAT is NOT their Intention. I'm tuned in every week, because I'm a faithful & dedicated fan with or without frequent previews, however, there are many untapped potential fans who have no idea what Smallville is Really about. There's very little to pique their curiosity or basic interest. IMHO, I think The CW needs to Re-Think what they're doing promotionally for their 'fledgling' new network and particularly with one of their precious few Favorite commodities...namely SMALLVILLE.

No, I mean the overnights, that come out before the fast nationels, where it's like 1.6 rating/4% share. Aren't they usually out around 9 AM?

I think that 4.95 million is wrong.

Based on the Half-Hour Breakdown it should be 4.595 million

Smallville
8:00 p.m. V: 4.48 million, A18-49: 1.8/ 5
8:30 p.m. V: 4.71 million, A18-49: 1.9/ 5

Pretty similar to the past ratings. Still in a safe place, but not having the same ratings as episodes like Cure or Bizarro.

Polomontana

I think the series is coming to a closeand the ratings will drop. It's running out of stories and Clark naturally has to leave Smallvile and the audience knows that.

I think one more season and it's a wrap.

Marc Berman from PIFeedback said that it IS 4.95 Million. Not a typo.

He said this about the halfhour breakdowns:

That's what Smallville averaged.

True.

But it's certainly an improvement from last year's ratings-fest.

Still CW's highest rated show. And SV's average rating is considerably better compared to other CW shows.

SparkleforSmallville

They are still trying to hash out which numbers are wrong. the half hour ratings or the average. My guess is the half hrs are correct. Making it 4.59mil.

Wish it was 4.95mil.:(

4.595 million?

Didn't pick of that much - I didn't really expect it to -- Lana centric episodes only do so-so.

I was hoping it would but 4.595 is still good.

4.6, it went up? Color me surprised, thought the Lana haters would boycott in force. Shows how much power they truly have, I guess. Better ratings than Kara and Lara (two admittedly better episodes). The ratings are strange this year, but at least they're staying up there. Lara is the lowest we've dipped so far.

Right, because this episode was the worst we've seen in the past few years. Not even close, and you completely neglect the 5 or so *good* stories they've told tihs year. 5 out of 7 is not bad odds at all.

Wow good! I just don't get why people hate Lana so much. And always try to blame her for everything bad that happens to Clark or him not fully embracing his destiny. The person who is stopping Clark is Clark. At least Lana took responsibility for her actions in the last scene of Wrath by setting Clark straight that it's not his fault what she does whether good or bad. .

But one thing I miss, that the WB would do, is how they would put the name of a DC superhero in cool lettering on the trailers when someone like Aquaman guested. And CW didn't do it for GA or SG, and I wish they would have. It makes it stick out more to you and youre morelikely to watch.
