I said it once, I'll say it again: ANYONE is better than Simone. Yeah, Caitlin was a rather boring character, but at least she didn't yell at her ex for painting the future of a nuked New York and accuse him of painting their relationship that way. I'm pretty sure there were some bigger issues going on there....

Although if the future gets changed before Peter can retrieve Caitlin what would theoretically happen to her?

Though I'm not a fan of Caitlin, her voice is grating and usually find Irish accent sexy, Peter will find her. Her character is rather stale. I wished they can get someone who has more spunk.

I wouldn't have minded her so much if she actually had a real point to the story other than another girlfriend for Peter. But I feel bad for both of them, imagine leaving your girlfriend in a reality that could become your alternate reality..does she poof from existance? o_o

Hey, I'm gender M and I'm okay with Caitlin being gone. She was cute, sure, and Irish (always a plus for me) but she didn't really serve much purpose. ANd besides, why would she want Peter back, really? SO far, hes gotten her brother killed and sent her to a disease ridden future and stranded her there...not easy to build a relationship off of that...

Unless of course, Heroes has been infected with the Smallville virus, and Peter could probably mutilate her entire family, cut off her arm, and cook her kitten for dinner right in front of her and she'd be like.."But I love you, so it's okay!"

Nope. She'll be incorporated into the current timeline.

A good example, in a way a lot of people could understand: in Back to The Future 2, Jennifer went to sleep in the alternate 1985. When Marty and Doc went back to 1955, Jennifer was restored to the normal timeline at the end of the third one.
