9/10 -- They finally remembered they have a narrative. The whole HRG/Claire/West dynamic still grates. I thought it was stupid from the get go, but at least it's coming to a head.

Some people can't stand that one show may be better than another.

This was by far the best episode this season. The storylines are finally tying together and some things from season 1 are starting to make sense. But really so many awesome things happened in this episode. In fact, this episode alone is going to be worth buying the Season 2 box set.

Hiro was the man in this episode. His awesomeness knows no bounds. I liked how he tried to redeem Kensei. He failed but at least he gave it an effort. And man, I knew there was going to be a Kensei/Hiro swordfight, but I didn't expect it to be THAT good.

I'm interested to find out if Mohinder will kill Noah. I'm hoping not but I'm starting to wonder if Noah is becoming sort of corrupt due to his bad deeds.

All in all, this episode was a thrill ride and is worth repeat viewings. I give it a 10/10.

For the third week in a row it gets a solid 10/10 from me. Beautifully done.

i gave it a 6 b/c it tied up some loose ends with the parkman plot, but it really just gave us more questions and was still ambiguous about ms. pettrelli's ability

10. Definitely the best episode of the season as seems to be the consensus, finally felt like S1 quality again. Being right after that much weaker ep The Line from last week (which I rated 3/10) helped to make this one seem even better no doubt. Even the Hiro/Kensei storyline was watchable -- ending it definitely helped in that regard. It's cool they gave this previously horrible storyline greater meaning (Kensei = Adam, great twist).

What made it really great was the tying together of previously seemingly disparate storylines from this season. Heroes seemed mostly lost and aimless up until this point, it's great to see it back on its feet again.

I was nice to see Matt FINALLY having a pair of huevos !
Peter's inability to use his skills in the future had me wondering why, considering he used them so well in the pub in Ireland.

Mohinder with a gun AND a beard, the man is full of surprises !

The Kensei/Adam one was a little obvious at one point, but still done very well.

I think it was the best episode because I actually got into it more than any others so far this season, and with November sweeps coming up, its only gonna get better !

10/10! This is Heroes right here. This is the only show that can both satisfy and confuse me and still make me like the show. The fight between Hiro and "Takezo" was cool and it was nice to see Hiro best him in the duel. Now I wonder if Hiro accidentally sent "Takezo" into the future because I am confused as to how he ended up with Peter as Adam. This is one of those WTH moments and I can't wait to see it all pan out.

Matt's confrontation with his father was long coming and I love how Matt is developing his mental powers. The revelation about the virus was shocking as well and now it will be a race to see what happens to Niki.

I can't wait for next week's episode. Take notes Smallville, this is how you get it done... ;)

Maya and Sylar need to "accidentally" drive into restricted US airspace in Nevada and "accidentally" have a nuclear test right on top of their heads.

Then New Orleans needs another hurricane to take away copycat. Then the show will be truly better.

Kring said Kensei/Adam was an immortal. He had to just hang around long enough to meet Peter.

Great episode!! Whenever they have multiple heroes working together it makes for a great show. Usually there's a lot of action and some questions get answered. Kensei being alive in the present was fairly predictable, but was still very exciting knowing that he must be planning revenge on Hiro. Can't wait to see where all this is going! Since Kensei survived I wonder if Claire is immortal as well. Episode 2-2 kind of implied that possibility.

That makes sense. Adam did say that he would hunt all Hiro loved and kill them. So in reality then Hiro is the one who causes the world's end because he starts Adam off on his vengeful hunt.

I knew it had to either be immortality or Hiro accidentally sent him into the future. I guess that was Adam's charred body on the ground after the explosion?

10/10 great episode. made my night finally knowing what angela petrelli's power was and knowing that kensei was adam monroe. i originally thought that the irish guy would have the opposite of the haitian's power. the sword fight between kensei and hiro was awesome, but i'm confused why did isaac paint the past or is there going to be another sword fight in ther future? that makes sense why the guy in the hood (kensei) was skinny and matt's dad is fat, and his name is maury i laughed at that. peter leaving katelyn was cold but i loved it. who else is tired of the new peter? Hiro's back and the best of all niki's lame a$$ is going to die!

Can't wait till next week!

After rewatching the episode, I m 99.9% sure it was peter reading her mind.
He did that "Matt thing" with the close up on his face and the "Thunking sounds" :)

Oh now this was good.

The Good (and when I say good I mean amazing)
~The Adam reveal....part of me starting to think it was him...but I just loved how they did it
~Peter gets some memories back...finally we can get at least a little bit of the guy we grew to love in season 1 (esp now that his ladyfriend is stuck in the future :P)
~Hiro coming back...I can't believe it...they ended the back in time bit in a way that made me not hate it...plus now Hiro and Ando are together again!
~The Company....Daddy Parkman gets a taste of his own medicine....Matt gets a spine...the nightmare man goes away...Molly's back....and Niki's in danger (with the virus that is going to be the main push of the story)

The Bad
~Clare and West...my only complaint....at least Clare felt some sense of consequence after the whole drunk cheerleader move...however it was made a little bit better by having West and HRG meet in person

Well done indeed....9/10

I loved this episode. I'd say a 9/10, but there was just one thing that bothered me. When Hiro got back to the present, he was way to happy. For a man that left someone he loves and watching a good friend of his get blown up has to damper someones mood. Can't wait to see what kensei has up his sleeve for hiro. I'm pretty sure he's the one that killed his father.

Since when does not giving all the answers and having some ambiguous plotlines = bad?

one thing i'm wondering about is that if he left yaeko and and kensei is alive did he end up killing her to get back at hiro? and it was great when kensei said "you will suffer" in japanese. it wouldn't have been the same in english.

This episode was awesome!! I love the plot twists that make who is good and who is bad ambiguous. Heroes does that well. I say 10/10. Can't wait till next week.

Wow... The only word I have for it. Just ... wow. Almost a 10. To bad I can't give 9,5's. The first 15 minutes I was thinking: here we go again with the Clair/West storyline. But than It got better and better and .... Wow!!!

Finally got to watch it.

Loved all the Peter in the future parts and really liked seeing HRG just totally evil (fire in the glasses look is a really cool look for him). Could have done with less West and more of the other characters.

Glad Nikki wasn't all whiney this ep - even though she's gets played by Parkman Sr.

Wow....it didn't take long or much to push Kensei to the dark side.

Glad there was no Maya and her bro - I miss Sylar but am a little tired of the twins.

In the end - I guess I'm just lovin' that Peter is getting to be in the spotlight again - I find his character so interesting and his storyline cool.
