Favorite regular character tonight was...

Who was the regular character you enjoyed most tonight?
For me it has to be Chloe. She gives and she gives and all she gets is what no one wants

Chloe, of course. She's always my favorite. She didn't have many lines, but she delivered her few with heart. Allison always does an excellent job, I don't know why they aren't using her as much this season. She seems to be mostly filler - which makes me sad. There is so much they could be doing with her character - I mean, she just found out she was a meteor freak!!! Do they just expect us to forget that? What did she decide to do about her powers after "Cure"?

Um... does anyone else miss Martha?

I don't like it to be all about Kara, ever. At least they had a good amount of Clark. The episode was still good, but I'd rather see what's going on in Clark's romantic life as to Kara's.

Clark's always the favorite character, no matter what. This poll should be favoite regular character besides Clark, he's not a regular character, he's the show.

Clark is the show, he's THE character. He's the reason for it all. I don't think he should be included in this poll. He's not a regular character, he's the story. The rest are just support.

There would be no Kara if there wasn't Clark. And if Clark wasn't right there with Kara this episode, it wouldn't have been any good. She's a good supporting character, without Clark it would have been nothing. Without Kara, there's still a great show, just like the last episode. Therefore, second place could never go to Clark. Don't get me wrong, I like her, but this favorite character stuff, I'm in disagreement with it.

I must admit that I hated kara at first, but "lara' has proven taht this character has potential and I love the interaction w/ clark and jimmy, ALTHOUGH she made chloe suffer a little bit at the end...

In this episode, I am going to go with Lionel because he is everyone’s friend and enemy all at the same time. He is burning the candle on both ends. Which ever side burns the longest that is where Lionel loyalties will be. He is the most interesting by far this season. John Glover rocks!

I think Kara, she was just great, and not as evil as Jor-El pointed out her to be. (Although Zor-El did seems to be kind of evil)

Lionel was also good, he always delivers great lines, and this episode was no exception.

ok my vote has to go to Lex, with all due respect to Oscar winners Mr Spacey & Mr Hackman AND John Shea & the always excellent Clancy Brown - Michael Rosenbaum has been the PERFECT Lex Luthor, he is no wholly evil but you KNOW he is NOT a good guy. Lex is hurt by his father's preoccupation with Clark, thorughout the series (and before) Lionel has NEVER shown Lex any fatherly love, Clark has always had everything Lex ever wnated and when Lex reaches and gets what Clark has, his own nature destroys it (His marriage to Lana) now Lex is fixiated on Kara even though he may very well hurt her. Lex was genuinely concerned seeing Kara in great pain and was despearte to conveyb that to Clark. Lex's role wasnt as big as usual, but his impact spoke volumes- IMHO Smallville will NOT be the same without MR

I understand what you're saying but there are people, whether you agree or not, that like other characters more than Clark. Personally, Clark is my favorite character overall, he's the reason I started to watch the show and he's still the reason I watch it now. But there have been episodes where I've liked another character's performance or scenes more so than Clark's. Which is why I think he should be included in this poll. Yes Clark IS the show, and I'm guessing most people starting watching it because of him, but I bet there are people who are still watching because of another character. I don't agree that because the story revolves around Clark he should be first on everyone's list every episode.

Chloe always make me smile, she is so sassy and fun. I just wish the writers would stop shovelling sh*t on her in every episode

I can almost name this series by the different scenarios where crap was dropped on Chloe:

The one where Chloe was sad because Jimmy broke up with her
The one where Chloe was sad because the editor ripped the crap out of her
The one where Chloe was sad because she died & came back to life
The one where her BF eyed up another girl in front of her face

How dare they portray Chloe as a real human being with feelings and problems??? They ought to be ashamed.

I'm willing to bet that Chloe will return to her much, much beloved old self the minute you stop whining about it.

I agree and I do miss Martha. She needs more to do too. She was like only in two or three scenes. I miss seeing here. I hope the writers gives her a better story arc.
