Is anyone else getting tired of Clark trying to use strong arm tactics to get information out of Lex? It's probably the most overdone thing in Smallville since the two stopped being friends. It's like Clark's trying to act tough by grabbing Lex and demanding information like he's all scary. Clark's not scary. Clark acting scary and like a thug makes me laugh.

And how many seasons ago did Lex tell Clark that he wasn't allowed to just show up like they were friends so he could get information, and then just leave again? Does Lex have no security? I'm waiting for Lex to just look at Clark and tell him to go away already before he messes up his suit and he hits Clark with an assault charge and a dry cleaning bill.

Anyone else anything they'd care to add?

Lex's not afraid of Clark! I just wish Lex would stick a krytonite in Clark's mouth! I hate Clark. Hate him. That stupid farmboy. AH! BAH!

lol Or have a gun with regular bullets by his side. That way when Clark does his overdramatic opening of the doors Lex can shoot him and go "I knew it! No information for you other than the next bullet is green. Get out!"

Yeah, Clark is a punk. I wish he would lose his powers again so Lex could smack him around and give him a swirly in the toilet.

lol That would be my favourite episode if he actually did that. Screw Onyx. Regular Lex is more than ruthless enough if he wanted to be. Give him a wedgie or two.

Yeah, but then there'd be more grabbing. Maybe, just maybe, if he did that all infront of Clark, Lex might actually get tossed, but that's still unlikely. At best he'll shoved up against a wall.

Clark looked really hot when he grabbed Lex. He's eyes were really, really green. lol

Speaking of BDA, how does Clark not realize that Kara's crystal with Lara's DNA will most likely bring Zor-El back too? He saw that part of the memory, not to mention it IS Kara's crystal, does he really think Zor-El is gone for good? I know this IS BDA we're talking about, but I swear, I think even Lana could have figured that one out.

I'd have to watch it again, but I think his nostrils flared too. The thing is while it's overdone, he is getting better at it. Maybe Tom and Micheal finally talked about it and went the Cuba Gooding Jr. vs Jack Nicholson fight where one told the other to just go for it, and be super agressive.

Nothing Clark does surprises me anymore. Most of it just causes a yawn. Like, his running up to Chloe EVERY SINGLE TIME. Can he not like stop outside the building, and then walk in like normal? Good thing all the really observant reporters aren't that observant of someone just magically appearing in front of the same desk time after time, at the same moment a gust of wind from nowhere appears.

Yeah I found that odd too. I thought they were supposed to be the top newspaper, someone ought to notice something. And while we're on it, even though I know this has been brought up at least once every episode, how is it that not a single security camera can catch a clear image, even if no one notices him blowing in (or out)?

My guess has always been that Clark knows where all the cameras are located and makes sure to avoid them all.

Eh, its possible, but I don't know if I buy that one, especially not in a thread discussing how much of a BDA Clark is. I just don't think he has that much foresight (or any foresight, judging by almost every season finale).

Oh no, I very much doubt he has the foresight. My guess is Papa Kent told him to start looking for the cameras and then whiz past them so he wouldn't get caught. We all know that Johnathon was as edgy about Clark's abilities getting noticed as Clark is now.

Jonathan was paranoid, but I think he was drunk most of the time and couldn't think much better than Clark. I want to see Zod come back and beat Clark down again.

Actually I just want Marsters back as Brainiac and kicking both Kara's and Clark's butt. Then have Brainiac laugh at Clark for still not being able to fly, and not having gotten a brain since their last encounter. Then he'll look over at Lana and see her purse. Laugh at Clark again, and then mock him about how Lana's got both of his "brains" in that purse of hers.

Yeah it's a little childish for him to always get so physical when talking to Lex. Maybe repressed sexual desires?? *big grin*

lol Ooh, I'm so not touching that one. Other than to say that Clark might just be a sadist, and is hoping Lex will be a masochist. Who knows? Sure as heck not me.

It's totally BDA syndrome to the max. When it doubt, use superstrength. If he actually hoisted Lex up when he did that, instead of eyeing him up for the best place to ruffle the jacket, maybe Lex might actually be intimidated. Probably not, but at least it'd be a little different from the norm.

It's so cliche now for Clark to do that, you could almost add that to a Smallville drinking game.

Something like that. Hold his head in the toilet, flush it, and then when he gets back up his hair's wet and looks like a twister.

I've been waiting for Lex to start acting like Lex Luthor for A LONG time. How he lets people come in and out of his mansion, grab him, punch him and yell at him is beyond me.

...Because he's secretly a masochist? :\ Maybe it's things like this that made Micheal not want to revise his contract for another billion seasons. He saw it as an escape.

well lex's security team was taken care of earlier. I wonder what he pays these people, they get knocked out or killed almost every episode.

That's fair, but that's only at this episode. Carter didn't "take care" of his security every episode for the last how many seasons though. I'm really mostly referring to his just grabbing Lex any time he feels like "threatening" him because Lex said something Clark didn't like at that particular second.

Lex: I think mocha chocolate's the best flavour.
Clark: What did you say? *grabs Lex*

i just responded to the security team question nothing else in the post, im just amazed by seeing lex's coworkers getting killed all the time and how he keeps getting more with the life risk of being his security or partners

A crystal with Clark's mother's DNA in it, could never belong to Kara. Not only that, Jor EL and MM told Clark to get the crystal and keep it from Kara.

Plus I did not like clark put his hands on kara. BDA should have known if I put my hands on Kara to hold her back that is a stupid idea. What am I going to hold her all day? He should have helped her get the crystal as opposed to taking it himself.

But strong arming Lex has worked so well in the past!
:rotfl:

Seriously, I'm right there with you. Lex likes the feeling of exhilaration that comes from the chance that he might get a whupping from meteor freaks/ Zod fans he's screwed over, his ex wife/ spring flings or Kansas' favorite farm boy.

Though security wouldn't really stop a Kryptonian, but he could use all that meteor rock in the closet- did he ever replenish his stock from Bizarro? - to surround his office or something.
