I thought it was pretty lame that the Kents just happened to be at church when Lara was there. It would have been much more interesting to see Lara meet Jonathan or Martha (or both), and Lara acts like she's just a person lost and asking for directions, with the Kents having no idea who they were really talking to……. Was it really so impossible for Al & Miles to bring on either John Schnieder or Annette O’Toole for 1 episode to do a 2 minute scene?

Still, this was a great great great episode.

I disagree completely, I think that the Kents being both at chuch is completely in character with their values and shows where their ethics came from.

I am more annoyed that the photograph managed to survive the second meteor show when the Kent house was obliterated.

It would have been a nice surprise to see Martha & Jonathan in this flashback, but yeah, it's a stretch.
Annette & John were key actors in the series. Once a key actor leaves a series, rarely do they make a re-appearance. Supporting actors are a different story.

Wookie - that's a hilarious good point. BLAMMO! But the pic's just fine, and in the same frame... And the front door - it would have been really funny to see them come home and say "Now what the..."

When I saw that I thought of the Dane Cook skit where he talks about busting down someone's door but not actually stealing anything. Then they sit around and wonder what was taken and it drives them mad.

yea it would have been cool to see john or annette but they probably were not even thinking that.

Jonathan used to get drunk and break down the door all the time, so they probably wouldn't have noticed anything out of place.

I don't think it just "happened" I think Lara likely knew the times they were likely to be away, remember that they had a large amount of the knowledge of the 28 known galaxies, I doubt finding out why the Kents would be away was a difficult thing for them to do.
