Was that Lex's St. George's armor box? I thought he gave that to Lana?

Or was it the box he & Kara found that S.O.S. amulet from Fierce?

At first I thought they were showing Kara at a much younger age. That outfit made her seem like a kid for some reason.

I thought she was supposed to be younger, guess I need to rewatch to see when it was supposed to take place.

It took place in 1986. Kara body-aging wise was a year younger than she is now since the meteor shower happened in 1989. Kara had been in suspended animation since Clark & her left Krypton in seperate ships. And that was sometime in 1986. I don't know how long it takes Kryptonian women to give birth after they are expecting.

How about Clark getting thrown against the wall oh and also the opening scene was very good with Kara flying.

Kara is the tightest character on smallville.

I know it wasn't the St. George armor box. That one was much smaller and more square (the one in Lara was more rectangular and much longer).

Since I can't remember the S.O.S. box i honestly can't tell you that one.

But yeah, not Lex's box. (wonder whatever happened to that! Does Lana still have it?)

I wish Lana would have given that box back to Lex as a result of her hatred towards him. But I don't even think Clark told her that Lex gave it to him before giving it to her. It always pissed me off how Clark just sent that box (that Lex's dying mother gave to him at that birthday where nobody showed up) to Lana like it was a Christmas fruitcake. When an item with that much importance to someone is given to a friend, the friend should hold onto it or give it back to the friend who gave it to them.

Agreed.

The El family dysfunction stood out the most in this episode. The Luthors apparently aren't alone in Smallville.

In Clark's defense Lex didn't tell him he valued the box, Lex just handed in over like it was nothing.

I'm pretty sure Lex did say it was given to him by his mother. Because I know Clark countered by saying that he can't take it, and then Lex came back and said "just take it". I always thought of Lex giving Clark that box as Ryan giving his comics to Clark.

Actually I most like the introduction of the character of Lara. I've always wondered about Clark's biological mother. She was great!
