If you notice, from the flashback, the house looks like it does now. However, before the house was bashed in by a meteor, it had yellow wallpaper with chickens on it.
If you go back and watch the earlier seasons, the Kent house was lighter in color. Now it's got purple paint on the walls and a leather couch.
There is a set for the house, which I assume is where they filmed the shot. However, I feel they should have gone back to the real house, because chances are, it still looks like it did from previous seasons.
No complaint-- just an observation.
