Lex Luthor, is he really good?

I can't help but wonder, how he's standing up for Kara when Carter arrested her that Lex really did change... i DO think however that Lionel will be the reason for his fall to darkness again. But what do you guys think?

lex stands up for kara because she was his 'guardian angel" he has some sort of emotional connection to her... but this may fade just as his connection did with clark. i don't think lionel will cause lex to fall into darkness. although lionel is suspicious... he seems to be doing more good than evil. lex is the villain... he will always fall back into darkness.

Lex thinks he's good in his own mind, and he sincerely tries to do good. But he is mentally ill.

He is protecting kara because he wants to experiment on her for himself. lionel did say that lex is obsessed with Clark and the people around him. he is still evil. Look at what he did to Lana. lionel even said it. yes lex in his own mind thinks he is good.

Lex's the baddie, dun be mistaken by his facade appearance. He wants Kara as much as he wants Clark. Yea...sounds kinda weird eh.
