I like Jimmy and Kara a lot more than I thought I would. I wasn't one saying "OMG THEY RUIN DA SHOW!" because of Jimmy and Kara's hookup spoiler, but I also didn't think it'd be that great either. In the end I think it did it's job, and AA + LV seem to have some amazing chemistry going on there, so I say bring it on. I just hope Chloe doesn't get hurt too bad. She seems to have walled off her emotions regarding Jimmy but you know they'll come to the surface eventually..

Jimmy didn't seem to be too in love with Chloe. It appears that he got over her very fast, and was making eyes at Kara when he was still with Chloe.

If Jimmy loved Chloe as much as some claimed,imo, he wouldn't have been eyeing another girl while in a relationship with someone, and he wouldn't have gotten over her so fast.


TPTB's just have to make Chloe look like an undesirable, ugly person don't they? No wonder Allison's leaving, as TPTB obviously feel that she's ugly and not desireable.

People in the know, regarding Allison, are hinting that it's a 95% probabilty that Allison won't resign for a season 8. Which makes how TPTB are treating Chloe worse,imo. I would hope that they would've given her a better send off.

Doesn't matter that you think Chloe/Allison are hot. It's obvious (by this episode) that TPTB don't feel that way. They had Jimmy checking Kara out when he was still dating Chloe. Then he gets over Chloe very fast, and says "whoa" after Kara kisses him. Doesn't take too much thought to realize that TPTB are "saying" that Chloe (and since Allison plays her) is an ugly, undesireable character.

You never hear Al or Miles rave about how beautiful/gorgeous Allison is, yet they say that about Kristin, Erica and Laura. Al also said that it would be hard for Jimmy to walk away from Kara. Translation: it's easy to walk away from Chloe because she's ugly, but Kara is beautiful, so who could walk away from her?

Funny, I was wondering the same thing only about EDlois. For all intents and purposes Kara seems to have taken over all the functions in the series that belong to EDlois (except her name, of course)
We could easily substitute EDlois for Kara in this list:

Kara=playful, sometimes annoying banter with Clark.

Kara= getting in over her head

Kara=eye candy and scantily clothed, sexy scenes

Kara= comic relief

Kara=a few serious talks w/ Clark with relation to her past, and her present predicaments

Kara=offering advice to Clark in a condescending manner.

Kara = incredibly annoying as far as i'm concerned. LV has shown herself to be a pretty poor actress, there is no depth to her character. Her sole purpose is to bring more tits n' ass to the show to distract the male viewers minds away from the slack writing & lame storylines - seems to be working so far.

Kara will never replace Lois, Lois is funny and sassy. Kara is none of the above - spoilt brat comes to mind.
