I think you are right. I mean, think about it. How much more do we know when we graduate high school than we did in the 60's? 40's? 20's? How much more will high school graduates know when graduating in 2080? I think because Kara was born and raised on a planet far more advanced than our own, she is naturally going to know more than humans of her age.
