Pranks/jokes are for April Fools. Halloween is about scary movies, costumes, and getting candy. The "trick" part of Trick 'R Treat should remain solely in the realm of TPing houses.

Agreed, this is more of an April Fools. Although if the writer's strike starts today, it may not be that far from the truth ;). Yes I realize other episodes have been filmed.

So when the strike is in effect are they going to show Canadian football? lol. Hey I am from Canada so I can joke about it. I seem to remember hearing they did that when the NFL was on strike back in the 80s.

Okay, once I got over the heart attack - it really would have been funnier on April Fools day - I started thinking. Much as we might wish otherwise, nothing lasts forever. But imagine if it went on, the show becoming Metropolis and dealing with the very start of Superman's career.

Okay, that brings up a couple of other considerations: what do they do with Chloe; how does Clark get hired at the Planet with no journalism experience other than an occasional byline in a high school newspaper; and the one that really intriques me - how does Superman operate when all of his "supporting cast" including his arch enemy knows his secret identity?
