What is with the Haitian's loyalty to HRG?

Did I miss something? Why is he so loyal?

Good point. The Haitian is as loyal now as he was when HRG was still working for the company. Did they even explain that?

Although the Haitian did disobey him once by not making Claire forget about what happened in 'Homecoming'.

they started working together when ted and matt came by the house and held the family hostage in company man. thats when the haitian shot hrg so that he could take claire away. the haitian was always working for angela to make sure that claire was safe. now that hrg is no longer part of the company, they are both on the same side trying to take the company down. mohinder is working with hrg and he went to haiti to cure the haitian thats when the haitian got back in touch with hrg.
