So, how psyched is everybody?
But, my question... is it really happening? I have only heard rumors, and haven't been able to find anything solid either way online... which leads me to believe it's not really a go. There is nothing about it on imdb, which again goes a long way toward smashing my hopes to dust.
Does anybody know anything concrete about this? I've heard it might be a 90 minute made for TV movie, I've heard it might be a whole series. Nobody seems to know anything for certain.
Even knowing it's not happening would be better than wondering! And, wow, after writing that, how pathetically starved for human interaction I must sound. ;)

It won't be a series, just a direct-to-television BBC movie. No idea if it's a prequel, taking place after Buffy/Angel, or both. Whedon has confirmed that everyone (himself and BBC) is on board, even Anthony Stewart Head. It's apparently set to air summer of next year, here's hoping we get some appearances by other Buffyverse characters. Even though it's being made for a British network, a R1 (Region 1, meaning for North America) DVD release will hopefully be able to pull through.

Sounds excellent! I'm very much looking forward to that. ASH was my favorite actor from the whole show, even to have a mini-movie devoted to Giles will be great. Do you have any online sources of this information?
