Ok, i have to say 2 things, first thing is about the title then about something else. ( i know this thread is long but please read it.)

The thing that bothered me in this episode, it isnt a very good reason, but why the hell would monica let herself be picked up on the street by a total stranger and brought to new york !
I mean she lives in New Orleans, and some guy tells her, i need to talk to you. So she just goes with him without a doubt.
I mean he makes her do tests for like 3/4 hours straight. He could of made her do anything apparently and she woudn't care ! Then he come to her with a frigging needle and tellls her to take it and she accepts. Any kind of drug could of been in there (and i really mean any kind) and she like : " make it fast i dont like needles."

AGAIN W T F !

He could be a molester, a serial murder, a kidnaper. But she doesn't care does she.
Oh she has kung fu moves and she cant defend herself. Yea sure but what if the doctor takes out his taser and electorcutes her ass !

And plus the needle had a virus that would take her beloved powers away and maybye endanger people around her i mean come on. She might might know what's in it. But if somebdy on the street told you to come to some secret facility in other town states away would you say yes and let a fancy doctor stick a needle in you i dont think so.

I know i sound like a whiny mother. But im just being realistic.
But what made me laugh out of all of this is my sister (basically) said she trusted him because hes an indian with a british accent and a P.H.D.
And then she was like (with a british accent) :
- Im Morhinder Suresh, could you please come with me.

And thats why i said w t f !

What do you think ?

P.S: I know it was a really long rant,lol.
Anyways could anybody post the heroes preview from last night (as soon as they get it) cuz i missed it and i wanna know what happens.

I know what you mean...It wasn't a clever move honestly. We keep telling kids don't fallow strangers but, what do we see on tv exactly the opposite. It's probably because she was curious about her powers. The guy came up to her and probably said that he could help her understand her powers more if she fallows him.She kept asking all those questions to Dr.Suresh.

Your thread is a valid topic, but you gave it a vague and unclear subject header, or we think it might be more useful with a more general subject header.

well she has come across as very confused and was waiting for someone or something to show her the way, especially cos shes religious.
so i guess its plausible that she feels mohinder is that someone.

That's not a really long rant. I've posted much longer
rants elsewhere. It took me about two minutes to read.
(Then again, I am a fast reader.)

Just what I was thinking.

Well, basically I was thinking "How could her grandma let
her go or what did she tell her grandma."

Actually, if she is 18 or older, then it seems slightly more feasible
of her to go without having to ask permisson.
Slightly. I mean, she is working instead of going to school,
so I'm guessing she is legally an adult.
Bob did give her the cover story of going to a seminar,
so I'm guessing she can go anywhere she wants, whenever.

Of course, what you're saying is my whole problem with
X-Men. (I love it, though.)
Why would parents trust thier kid to go to some
far away school with some bald guy in a wheelchair to
a school they've never seen?

Monica going with Mohinder is so much worse.

He comes to her AT NIGHT and doesn't give her much
explanation. I mean, jeez, they had to wait until the next
ep. for her to ask "why's this happening to me?"
Then there were all the tests and whatever.

And where the heck was her grandma and the rest
of her family?!

I guess we could chalk it up to Monica not being the brightest
lightbulb in the box. (Young girls are often known for being naieve, anyway.) Or, maybe she just trusted him because
of the obvious: He's hot.
Which is NEVER a good reason! But, I'm just trying to think
of reasons for her to just go off with him willy nilly like
a silly goose.
