I think she had to work for the Company in return for the cure, but I could be wrong on that, it might be something they explain in one of the upcoming episodes.

Of course they bring someone in to keep him straight, just when he starts getting some common sense and a properly calibrated moral compass.

why is Niki's character being reduced to small one-minute roles in randomly placed episodes? I don't know. But anyway, I don't know if it was just me, but Niki didn't really seem herself in that scene, but maybe it's jut because she's been brainwashed by the company. Or maybe she doesn't really want to keep mohinder in line, but she wants to help him bring down the company. Maybe she was just acting that way just in case someone was watching. It seems like that could be the case.

When you all are talking about Nikki getting "the cure" what are you referring to? I don't remember any reference to her having the Hero virus, I just thought she went to the company to help her with her psychosis problem. I may be wrong, but I just don't remember her being sick, but then we all might have to wait until "4 months ago" to know for sure what is going on with this season.

Also, isn't the virus deadly to those who contract it? Yes they lose their ability, but they also die, and quite rapidly. Mohinder has never given "the cure" to Nikki, he was surprised to even see her with the company. If she had the virus and needed the cure, Mohinder could have used that to recruit her to work against the company since he is the only one with "the cure".

On a side note, I don't think that Sylar/Gabriel has the virus either, he just can't use his ability. He would be at deaths door if he had the virus and he looks pretty spry to me.

That's what I was thinking. There is no way anyone can convince me that was Nikki.

It was definitely Jessica. The smile on her face and the look in her eyes just looked too psycho to be Nikki.

My theory is that Bob and the Company probably double-crossed Nikki when she came in for treatment and found a way to activate the Jessica personality for a prolonged period of time so that she will be willing to do the Company's dirty work.
