I loved every minute of it. Action surpassed my expectations (which are usually pretty high in that I assume I'll always be entertained - this time I was "moved") , it was just fantastic.

- The symbolism of the waving cape in the last scene.
- Clark catching Lana after she was pushed off the building.
- Christina Milian was lovely as Rachel Davenport.
- The always fabulous Chlark scooby action.
- Lana is definitely not the same person she used to be.
- Lois the investigative reporter sticks it to Grant.

Clark diving after and catching Lana and their acting and the stunt was just incredible. The best stunt since the missle in Hidden. Absolutely fantastic. From the save; her watching him come after her, Clark keeping her peaceful and looking angelic during the fall, to the impact and their love for each other. I could watch this over and over again.

I loved the constant referenes to Clarks future destiny. Especially the ending scene with the cape moving in the breeze.

Are we really supposed to believe that she has more power over government documents and things similar, than Lex's paid professionals? At first I was able to just ignore it, but now it's just stupid.. :rolleyes:

You said it better than I could, I have now watched that one scene 8 times, including 4 times before I went to work. One of very best scenes Smallville has ever done to show a bond and a rapport between Clark and whoever, this time, his first love Lana.

I loved the entire episode....

My favorite scene has to be Clark catching Lana from her fall....that was amazing! The special effects, the music, the acting....everything...I LOVED IT! I have watched that scene more times than I care to admit :p

I voted for Clark catching Lana. It was a great scene to watch.

But for the record, I am not a Clana fan.

After nearly 7 seasons, Clana should be over. But TPTB simply will not let it die. They have made Clana the central theme of Smallville to the extend that it is now keeping Clark from fulfilling his destiny to become Superman.

The BDA doesn't want to use his powers to help the world, he just wants to live on the farm in Smallville with Lana.

I might have voted for more had the CW feed come in better and I could have actually scene some of those scenes. I have a write in for two other things:

Characters not in the episode get mentioned again. Kara and Jimmy didn't just not exist like Lois last season... when they were in her apartment. :eek:

and Clark is the one to come up with the answer in a Chloe and Clark thinking scene. Yay... he might be learning to use his brain after all.

Other than the fact that it reversed development in terms of Clark wanting to help others with his powers, the episode was good in all aspects.

Couple of good scenes that deserve mention:
1. Aside from the snide remark of their friendship, it was good to see Clark and Lex being able to show some civility towards one another (In contrast to the previous seasons with Clark entering to make an accusation of the week).

2. Ben defending Clark's secret from Lex/Devilicus. Mainly if only to show that his obsession doesn't cloud all of his judgement.
