LOL the title "Action" was relating to the the movie they were making not for actual fighting and physical scenes. They did have some good special effects though especially with the car crash.

I also think it was a nod to the famous "Lights, camera, action!" statement often associated with film production, and Hollywood in general.

There is a lot of allusion in the "Action" title:

Action comics, where Superman first appeared. I believe Clark actually holds an Action Comic in the scene with Chloe at the DP.

Action as it pertains to movie and television production terminology.

Action in reference to the story's action sequences and the comic book theme of the episode.

Action in the sense of sexual innuendo between Clark and Rachel.

That's all I can think of at the moment.

Not to mention, um, Clark blocking an actress from a flying door and an exploding car, on an action movie set no less.
