I think it is good that Lionel got psycho cabin fever on that ladies who trapped in her cabin. He show his evil rising front of Lex, so Lex believed that he is still on his side. While Lex go to Clark, Clark seem him in his good side. Lana better watch out from Lionel. lol

I'm thinking that maybe Lionel wasn't out of control at all. He may have wanted Marilyn dead so she couldn't talk and let Lex know what's up with Lana. The MB is always in control and always has a plan. He probably has his own idea about how to use what he knows about Lana. He pretended to be out of control so Lex wouldn't suspect, but the whole thing was probably cooly calculated.

That's a hint that even though Lionel is playing "good" we'll find out later that he's NOT.

How Awsome was Lionel in this episode? Not just acting wise but as a character. First he is ripping off his flesh, than he beats the woman to death! A true MB! Hells yeah! Than, the best of all, he calles out Lana on her evil actions. Finally somebody sees through her act. I'm so glad Lionel is back. Now we only need Martha to balance things out.

I totally agree with everything you said here. Lionel was awesome tonight! Not only did he finally make his return, but he was so in character. A MB through and through. The part with him tearing his flesh was totally something Lionel would do if his life was on the line. When he killed the lady I was thinkin "NOBODY kidnaps the MB!"

And what I loved the most was when he called out Lana on her lies.

The MB totally pwned Princess Lana in that scene. :D

Lionel is probably the most collectively disliked character on this messageboard. He always offers something great to the scrpit and it should be good what he is goig to do. I don think he will necessarily focus on Lana all this season and it will be interesting to see how he will "protect" Clark.

I wonder if killing Marilyn was his way of protecting Lana. Because he had to know that had she lived, Lex would have been all over her asking about the depth of Lana's involvement and not stopping until he got answers. I definitely know that he knows that Lana is involved. I think he knows a good deal too, especially from the change of the tone of his voice when talking about what happened to Warrior Angel's girlfriend in the comics (which may parallel Lana's fate).

JG is such an awesome actor, he does a great job of making the bad guy look cool.
They softened his character so much, over the past year or more, so they could hit us with the classic MB all at once.

Lionel accused Lex of kidnapping him. Then Marilyn threatened Lex, so Lionel knew Lex wasn't involved. At that point, as far as I know, Lionel didn't even know that Lana was still alive. Why would he kill someone to protect her? All he knew was that it wasn't Lex who had him kidnapped.
