Ok...don't hate me people. But...I am starting to kind of understand the Chlois theory?? :p
Tonight when Lois was breaking into Lex's office...and she's typing on the computer. She kind of looks at her hands and says stunned "Wow, I'm good at this?!" That was the first time I ever had a slight thought that maybe a bit of Chloe's....I don't know, "essence" got into her. I just thought that scene was weird. Either they are
A) Hinting at Chlois
B) saying Lois is dumb...and she really had no clue that she new how to hack into computers...
C) I'm reading too much into this. :rotfl: It's probably C....oh well!

I found it strange because Lois went STRAIGHT for the computer and looked like she was trying to HACK.
She even went undercover and broke into a Luthorcorp building just like Chloe did in "Truth" from S3.
It all seemed VERY Chloe-esque.

Yes!
Thats what I thought too.....I dont know if the writers are trying to make it look that way. But i instantly thought of Chloe.

yea she was trying to be like chloe tonight, but they are trying to make lois more like comic lois now.

But that means the writers are just shoving Lois down our throats...and I find that even harder to believe. Are we supposed to just accept that Lois is a master hacker (like Chloe) over night? I'm the first one to say I don't want Chloe's essence or w/e in Lois. But...I think it's weird that ever since Lois came back from the dead she some how has more talent and drive then she did before??

Actually no where near shoving Lois down our throats. Don't get me wrong Chloe is cool and she was my favorite character on Smallville until Lois arrived. But come on time to face reality Lois is in the comics. She's a big part of Clark's life and you may start to see her more and more and less and less of Chloe. Chloe was only made up by the writers to bring Journalism into Clark's life. Lois is Lois and Chloe is Chloe time to face reality.
And if that's right that Chloe's essence is in Lois which makes her able to hack then that means there's some essence of Chloe in Clark with the whole investigating thing. Gee I beat no one thought of that when they came up with the Chlois theory.

How about this idea...Chloes tear in Bizarro was actually a vessel for her DNA to be shared with Lois.

I'm sorry, but Lois sucked as a reporter in this episode. She had some pieces, but she was wrong on some other pretty big pieces, some pretty obvious things flew right over her head, and she didn't follow through on the story nearly enough.
I was kinda surprised they wrote her being so bad at the investigative stuff. But, if they were actually trying to show her being a good reporter, that's almost worse considering how majorly they failed.

I thought the same thing in that scene! i wonder if anything else weird will happen like that. Next she might start having a "thing" for Clark, or at least start getting suspicious of him. Then, along with the viewers, maybe Chloe and even Clark might catch onto how CHloe-like she is becoming, and start to wonder.... hmmmm...... :\

If there's one thing I hate, it's the idea that Chloe's essence was somehow transferred to Lois during her healing..... If it were true, that would essentially mean that a part of Chloe transfers into everyone she's going to heal, which makes no sense at all. If that were a possibility, what's next? Chloe heals Clark and he suddenly knows how to kiss Jimmy the way Chloe does? However, that doesn't mean I hate the idea of Chlois; there's only one way to do: Lois dies and in "honor" of her, she takes her name. It's the only believable "Smallville" way it could and should happen. Transference, no.

someone had speculated somewhere else that maybe Chloe's power made Lois immortal. Think about that one. Chloe could be Clark/Superman's first honest to goodness true love, then after say 150 years has gone by and he's outlived her he meets Lois (matured w/Chloe DNA?) when he decides to start a new life as a DP reporter. Neither one of them know that the other has a secret, so they don't connect anything, even though they may look similar to ppl they knew 100 years ago.
now that's a scenario that should satisfy both the Chlarkers, Chloisers, and Cloisers. :D :) :\

agreed, she was jus way off tonight...Her comment tho was funny cause she didnt get nowhere tryin to hack, and also she wasnt much of a sparrin partner wit lex as I had hope.Once again they show her havin sum clues but not a clue smh,she accused lex but no followup.I wish they had kept the lois followin lex to the cabin part,it would have madeup for her bein way off about lex tonight.Yet also put her on the luthor's even more since she'd kno sumthin was goin on,instead tonight she was jus reachin and cameup empty. She even started to 2nd guess by wonderin if she help lex find lionel or not.

Even if that were remotely true, it wouldn't mean anything regarding chlois.
From what I've heard about that scenario, it involves Lois having Chloe's essence and becoming ILL on account of her cousin being a freak.
So if anything, that's more of an anti-chlois theory.

I think Lois meant that she was good at sneaking around more so than the hacking. Will Lois be the only person Chloe heals? And they also didn't explain how Chloe convinced the hospital she didn't die. Now speaking of chloe and her power wasn't she crying for clark to heal way back in that season 2 episode where clark got sick from the kryptonite dust? And then he healed? I will have to go to the DVD for that one!

My question is if you are going to break into someone's office why would you turn your back to the door?
If lois was smart then she would have placed herself where she can see if someones coming and be able to hide.

I thought Lois was just marvelling at the fact that she got past Lex's security and to the jackpot... his computer.
How long would she be on the computer before she gave up and started rummaging through files? Well we don't know. She really hadn't been on the computer long enough to really get anywhere.
So I doubt that she was referring some sort of hacking skill.

Right, ....unless she was Chloe.
Looking at that scene again, Lois' hands first started zipping away on the keyboard, then her eyes light up and she says. "Wow....I'm good at this!"

No way. I saw that and thought imediatley of LnC and how Lois always sneeks into offices and diggs for info. Her comment "Wow, I'm really good at this" was not referencing the computer, but her breaking and entering skills. she barely even toughed the computer, she was turning it on, and than Lex caught her. There was no reason to think she was hacking in anywhere. She was no more than two seconds on the computer.

She will be good at it but not now.
She got herself caught and was praising herself before she actually got any information.

That's what I thought. Apparently no one could use a computer in Smallville without it becoming a big deal. People's fingers fly over a keyboard, copy data onto a thumb drive or insert a CD and they're automatically a hacker?

I assume if she wanted to get some info she would have to be a hacker. I can't imagine Lex wouldn't have the best possible security or at least password.

If this episode showed anything it showed Lois Lane bringing the Planet down... I mean because of Lois Lane, the smallville Ledger scooped/dooped the Daily Planet!

Actually it would be the reversal of the Chlois theory saying EDLois becomes Chloe Sullivan in all but name

 Actually this is rather a point agains Chloe. She was on scene. She was a witness, she has access to the guy that saved Rachel, she had the sheriff's report...yet for some reason...the DP didn't get the story. Hmmm...
