One thing.. if your falling off a building.. would you just be still and staring up? Would you scream at one point on instinct?

Well, the fact they landed on a car didn't help that much. It was just a rescue. It's not like he flew with her or anything.

This was probably one of the best scenes in Smallville! Finally, of all the times he has saved her and wanted her to know, it finally happens. Lana sees every second and her reaction in those few seconds were, ...fear, disbelief, relief, and overwhelming love. Clark was so Superman-ish and yet expressing his profound love for her. It was incredibly romantic and one we Clark and Lana fans have been waiting for!!
The music seemed to be from the beginning of Reckoning and was beautiful and touching. It was a powerful and beautiful scene and Tom and Kristin played it with such intensity and emotion! Kudos to them.

who cares. that 'ive got u' line is saved for Lois..his true love.
Clana is not strong enough.lol. Secrets and lies plus hate always overshadows them.

Clark and Lana do not need "cheezy" lines to express emotions in a special scene. Lois can have that line, I'll take what I got in that scene with Clark and Lana,.....LOVE pure LOVE in both their eyes........anyday of the week!

Funny, the scene did totally remind me of Reckoning. That's probably partly why. I agree, it was a cool scene, even though I kind of would have expected at least some type of scream from Lana at first. But it was the first time that Clark saved Lana when she knew what was going on (which is lucky, because it was pretty undeniably super). So it was a big deal for the show, and they made it appropriately spectacular.
I also thought Clana was a lot more warm and loving this epi. And at the same time, Lana gets darker with every show. Interesting.

I saw the scene, it almost looked like he was flying (Which he wasnt). Superman ish all the way.

Absolutely! Who cares whether they spoke or looked into each other's eyes. He dove head first off the building and bombed after her. How cool was that! A VERY Superman moment that has me totally giddy.

haha. i saw your comment randomly in there.. lol
it was great..
btw, i think the reason she didn't scream was because she was in shock. she looked kinda calm at first, but then i though she looked horrified.

I think it was the closest to flying we have seen Clark to now. I feel it was the one of the best scenes of Season 7 so far...
I may have missed it but have Clark and Lana kissed in Season 7? There has been alot of hugging and holding of hands but any kissing?
Also comment on this thread, there was no need for either of them to say anything, just shocked that the guy pushed Lana off the building and then kept Clark's secret from Lex...

it was a nice moment, but it was a passed-up opportunity to have him FLY. up until the second they hit that car, i thought there might be hope for a first flight, but alas: no.
