Run and Perry are pretty good competition, but this picked up on so many elements of mythology and the destiny of superheros. And Lana - wow. And Lionel - wow again. And, and, and. I don't want to spoil it for people who haven't seen it yet. Let's just say the inner geek in me bubbled to the surface.

Run and Action were both great episodes. The main reason I voted for Action was that I had such low expectations for it, that I was surprised how much I liked it. I finally have nothing to complain about regarding how the writers have been writing Clana so far this season; the passion is back. :)

I voted Perry. I liked Action, but I thought it focused too much time on that actress Clark was protecting. The most interesting parts were the ones that got less time (like Lionel being held captive and Lana's involvement and Lois' investigation). I wanted to see how Lois got her leads and broke into Luthorcorp.

I really liked the Clark-Lex scene though.

I would put my top 3 episode 5's as Perry, then Run, then Action.

I will. I hated Justice. I watch this show because it's a show based on Clark becoming Superman. That episode showed Clark as an incompetent moron and focused on everyone else other than the future Superman. I liked seeing Victor, Bart, and AC again, but they failed to show why Clark would be such an important member of the JLA. That should have been the point of such an episode in a show about Superman (showing why Superman is such an asset to the team). I didn't like how they put Chloe in the mix of things either (as stupid as having Lana as a witch hunting for the stones) and I hated how the JLA just rolled over their opposition (there was no real climax). The only thing I liked was the scene between Lex & Bart.

By the way, you may want to leave these type of threads to vyperman since every summer he has the Episode Wars which is the exact thing as all these threads combined. He takes a tally and a winner of each episode number is picked after the voting deadlines.

I voted for "Action" based solely on the image that was left in my head at the end. To finally see Clark with that cape in his hands was incredible. It's as if it was his very first contact with with his real destiny.

but I voted Perry. It was a fantastic take on the character. and can explain how Clark ends up getting hired later on, considering how unreliable a Journalist he'll probably be :D

It's between Run and Perry for me. I just can never stop laughing at the tractor/ Perry scene. I always loved The Flash, and that was a great storyline for everyone involved, especially Bart-Clark-Lex. Thirst would never be my consideration :D
