Action is worth the wait! I think I'll watch it tomorrow too! It was one of my favorite episodes this season I think. I liked it better than the season premiere really. It had some just AMAZING lines.

That is honestly one of the best episodes of Smallville, I've ever seen.
I loved the parallels between the Warrior Angel & Clark, the dialouge between Clark & Lana at the end was awesome, & even though he didn't put the cape on, it was still a perfect ending.
I give this episode a big thumbs up! 10+

It was great as a stand alone episode. The underlying messages far outweighed the top story.

I thought the cape blowing in the wind as Clark walked away, was very ominous. A destiny on hold, but none-the-less .... it's coming.

Completely agreed with Randy G here. That's what I got from the cape blowing in the wind. Clark's not ready to accept his destiny yet.

And it's interesting now that Lana seems to be pushing Clark towards independence, that there are far more important things out there than Smallville, etc.

I thoroughly enjoyed this episode, and its probably one of their better standalone episodes in the entire series.

Gawd I loved this episode!!! I mean it had everything..except what I craved the most a Clois scene but watching Lana get bawled out by Lionel was the highlight of the show for me!!! GO LIONEL!! And though I am sooo not a Clana fan that catch was sooo romantic I loved it very well made!!

I love how Lionel new it was Lana, I just wish Clark would figure it out for himself... lol plus the whole underlying story of how Heroes stand alone lol, forecasting a clana break!! yay lol, plus Why is Clark always so Self Centered, If Oliver was there he would have slapped him into shape already, maybe when he comes back Clark will finally see the light

That was a completely entertaining and fun episode that somehow managed to combine light,fluffy and comedic with some serious plot driving intense scenes. Whilst I'm hanging out for the end of Clana I did think that catch was supercool, (should have been Chloe but that's just me), the scenes between Lana and Lionel - brilliant! JG is always a brilliant Magnificent Bastard but KK played Lana just right. She's certainly imbibed some of Lex's ruthlessness and is headed down a twisted path. Clark will see this - hell it's probably the beginning of the end for Clana - it looks like a huge priming for finale of that relationship (whether that coincides with the end of S7 or the end of the series altogether remains to be seen). But the comic book references and the allusions to keeping the mythos real and true to it's heritage was an absolute gas. The dialogue was hilarious - I'm surprised none of the actors let a grin slip at the irony of it all!
And good on Clark for not moving on into the moping too soon, the boy needs a bit of sunshine in his life, no doubt he knows one day he's gonna have to step up for the rest of the world but why not enjoy 'everything he wants' for a little while. Cape left on fence? Good plan....it says I'm not completely in denial bout my destiny but it also says I'm not about to start flying...which is great from my POV - it means we may just get a Season 8 as well.
