big plot loophole

Here's the thing.

Peter now knows his full name. If it was me, the first thing that I would do, that most people would do in this day and age, would be to google my name and see what comes up.

Nathan was an elected congressman. Punch in the name Petrelli and his image is going to be one of the first things that comes up. Peter has a picture of him and Nathen, remember? Mystery solved.

I'm not sure if this qualifies as a plot loophole, but Peter's mystery doesn't seem like much of a mystery to me.

Yeah, that's what some people would do - but it's not like Catlin is a high tech girl and it's not like Peter has even been tech-savvy (although he might have Micah's power too).

I think that he's going off of what he knows - and what he knows is in the box and the painting he just painted.

if he was interested about where he came from, he prolly would have opened it very sooner and did a bit of research on it further
but then again this isn't Smallville and people don't get answers within the sentence structure of a question

Its still a mystery to me what happened after the explosion and what got him ended up where he is

It's too soon to start looking for loopholes...the plot's not finished yet.

But none of those two knew about Nathan's political identity and Peter's still blurry about his past given there's only limited resources (plane tickets and a photo) And also they were immediately interrupted by a phonecall about the girl's brother's death. There's no time for peter to worry about his past.

It probably is a plot hole, but one you weren't supposed to think about. :)

Trust me he has Micah's power and Molly's for that matter he just hasn't used them yet. Cause both the kids were with DL the whole time Peter and Sylar fought...and if Peter got DL's power from that distance then he certainly got the others but he don't know he has them.

There's a plot hole alright, and it's not Peter finding out who he is....it's how in the **** did he have that stuff on him? Shouldn't it have been burned up? Are we going to find out he never exploded in the first place? And if so, what were the lights everyone saw in the sky?

I'm also wondering how Nathan kept from getting burned when he picked up Peter and flew away with him?? I know he keeps seeing a burned guy, but that's his conscience seeing Peter isn't it, because he doesn't know Peter didn't explode?

no, the burned guy is defiantly him. in nathans nightmare when he is fighting the burned guy he says "im you" or something like that. besides he knows peter would heal if he was alive. i think he feels guilty cuz he doesnt have any burns and peter is dead. how does he not have any burns?
as for the stuff that peter had on him, he didnt have them on him when he became a human bomb. i think what happened is that elle somehow got ahold of him, thats where he got her power from and she had something to do with his passport and tickets and probably the picture. that she put him in the shipping container and he somehow got shipped to ireland. how else would she know were to look for him?

It isnt normal amnesia, it's the Haitian going in an removing his memories. Who knows what that guy left in there. Hell, it woulda been funny if he had Peter forget how pee or something :)

Prior to his exploding, was there ever, at any time, any mention of him flying to Montreal? Nope, nada...soo that means the stuff in his pockets and in the box were acquired after he went boom...remember there has been a 4 month gap of time here between the end of last season and the start of this one...lots can happen in that time.
