Good episode - really liked how it mixed it up a bit.

Loved Pa Parkman - what a little trouble maker he's turned out to be.

Liked that they moved forward on Peter's story a bit and that they finally introduced Kristin's character and that she's really not a nice little girl.

Hated that they killed that Irish mob dude because he was actually a cool character - but I guess they had to push Peter forward somehow and now that her brother is dead, Catlin will probably go with Peter.... which might reveal later on that she might have a power (but as time goes on I'm kinda doubting it or else she doesn't know she's got the power).

Really liked that they had HRG but no Claire. Her storyline is boring and nothing new. I care more about Parkman/Nathan/Peter's storyline's and want to know more - since they are clearly on the same path and will cross eventually.

Matt's Dad's power was just like his in the beginning. Parkman is going to have a very cool power. I like where tptb are going with this storyline. Nathan and Matt working together very cool.

Peter's story looks like it's going to leave Ireland........finally! Kristen Bell is so fine (just had to say that) but I don't think I'm going to like her character.

I like the new little black chick and her power. She is going to be a good Hero.

I didn't like the fact that we had no Claire. Hiro please come back!! And why did Nikki go crazy? And I don't think that that was Mohinder who showed up at (what's the black chick's name?) house.

No wonder twins this week.........yeah! But also no Sylar....boo! Geeze I love to hate that guy!

What are HRG/Noah and the Hatian up to? I think this was the 1st 10 of the season. Well maybe 9 1/2 (because of no Claire!).

8/10 --Finally, they're moving along. I just hope the writers' strike doesn't make this all moot. Did you notice the guy Ando went to is the same one from the on-line Takezo mockumentary? That neat. I'm also loving the character interactions and how they allow for fewer storylines per ep. It does tighten things up.

I was confused about Niki, though. Noah Gray-Cabey said in an interview that Niki came to the company, because she had the virus, and I thought from the context clues that that was the case. Maybe, she gets it later?

10/10, best episode so far this season. This is why it pays to have the buildup they had at the beginning. Better to slowly buildup and pay it off in the middle rather than pay everything off at the beginning (like everyone wanted them to, apparently) and have nothing left to do.

I don't know if i was watching the same episode as ya'll cause i thought that one was pretty bad. I had to give it a 6 and that was a little generous personally.

Things i liked:
1. Delving more into the 12 story
2. Finding out about Matt's dad
3. Seeing Matt finally use his power to psychically talk back to someone instead of just hearing them.
4. Seeing Monica experimenting with her abilities.

Things i didn't like:
1. NO CLAIRE!?! WTF
2. NO SYLAR!?! WTF AGAIN
3. Hiro's stupid Kensei story arch again (thankfully it was shorter this time)
4. Peter's lame story line and then him making such a big deal bout the box and once he opened it he found out it didn't tell him anything.

Things i wonder about:
1. I think Matt's dad is pretty evil now...i was kind of iffy about the whole Molly dream and all and then when i saw him i was like...THIS IS WHO YOU'RE SCARED OF!?! But when he took on Matt and Nathan and left all smiling i was like HECK NO!
2. Seeing Matt's dad just makes me even more excited for Matt and what kind of future potential he may have.
3. Who's Kristin Bell's dad?
4. WHAT IS UP WITH THAT NATHAN TWO-FACE DEAL!?! Is it a psychosis or something?

Next week looks to be better.

Let's see, if you hate Hiro and Peter's storyline and you can't stand having an episode without Claire or Sylar, well, you're definitely watching the episode with a different *frame of mind* from the rest of us. That would cause you to rate it...well...I won't say anymore, but I highly disagree that there was anything about this episode deserving of a 6.

I give it a 9/10. It started out VERY slow. But it really picked up at the end and became the best episode of the season. But I just want to know where they're going with this Kensei story. How does he and that symbol connect with all this?

The best part of the episode was Matt and Nathan vs. Matt's father. That was wonderful.

After that I enjoyed... Micah and Monica bonding and trying out her power. It became kind of cool after the piano scene and I needed Micah to explain it all. I liked how Micah is geeking out while she's scared to death. She still rubs me the wrong way but I no longer think her power is lame.

I thought Ando taking Hiro's letters to a professional to have them deciphered was a nice touch. LOL! They are ancient after all. LOL

Caitlin is cute but... she's kind of... she could end up being just the damsel in distress, like Simone.

Kristen's character seems to mirror Claire in a way which is interesting. If Bob wears horned rimmed glasses and is KBell's father... hmmm... that would be even more interesting.

We now know where Peter's power comes from. He must have interacted closely with Kristen's character.

The preview for next week was much more exciting than this week's episode. LOL! I'm eager to see how events unfold.

Absolutely loved it.

Kristen Bell's character is like bitter honey. My favorite part of the episode is when she says, "So what, I killed him." She has no emotional attachment at all. I cannot wait to see her battle it out with some of the other heroes.

Also, Matt's dad was a nice twist. I still don't think he's killing the heroes. The guy that killed Hiro's father was smaller. Although Matt's father's power confused me. It's almost as if he too can create illusions.

I gave this one a 9/10. Solid episode with some good twists and turns. I can't believe Parkman would be so gullible but it was his father and a son's need to be able to trust their father no matter what wins out sometimes. The nightmare thing was a little creepy. No Claire this week though... :(

I liked Nathan being there with Matt though and seeking a more active role as he tries to figure out who attacked his mother.

This episode belonged to Peter though and it was cool to see him painting again and opening that box so he knows his real name. Kristen Bell did alright but her time was cut short. I was laughing when she was on the phone. That conversation was funny and she did it well. She's one bad cutie though after seeing the electrified corpse of the pub owner.

I also like Micah's cousin who can mimic anything she watches or sees. Her doing kung fu to Dragon: The Bruce Lee story was cool.

I can't wait until next week when we see HRG back in action. Looks to be good.

My dislike for Parkman grows by leaps and bounds as every episode passes.
I can't stand him, what a lazy Mofu.
No only does he not understand anything about his powers, he is as dumb as a door knob !
Someone needs to put him out of his misery !

I think this was the best episode of the season so far. It seems like some of the plot threads are finally starting to come together though I am still wondering what the BIG menace is this season (so far, nothing to compare with the thread of NYC getting blown up)

This was one of the best episodes of the season for two reasons:

Matt and his Father
Monica and Micah

The questions brought up by Matt and his father (not to mention their powers) is exciting. I figured Matt's father wasn't the BIG BAD of the season but he wasn't nice. We are starting to see how power can be abused by people not named Sylar. This was a theme we didn't see too much in Season one (maybe with Eden). I like the mention that these powers can evolve themselves into something more.

Monica is such a great addition to this season. It is fun to see her and Micah testing out the powers. There is a child-like joy in their faces at the cool stuff happening.

I could have done without Kristen Bell. She is a quirky actress and nice to look at but I didn't get much from her role. The only thing she brought (to this episode) was "who is DADDY?" Of course it is someone working for the company...unless it is Mr. Bennett??? Just kidding. It's probably Bob or Kensai! But this brings me back to the theory of there being another company. Time will tell.

I got excited about the trailer for next week!!!

I gave it a 10.Awesome episode,the best so far,I should say.I love Peter so much.Great Nikki's entrance.I like the comnversation with Matt and his evil dad.I appreciated his fight with Nathan who each other thought they saw they worst nightmare.I really like Monica,I love her power,pretty cool and finally,Micah,the mastermind.I hope this little boy will never go bad.It would be the end of their world for sure.So,the new girl is the big boss's daugther...interesting!!!

matt's dad is awesome, tricking matt and nathan like that. the nightmare fight between them was great. kristen is hot and i guess we know where peter got the lightning from. by the way i am going to jump the gun, i mean with the conversation elle was having on the phone with who i think was bob, i am going to say that she is bob's daughter. sad that ireland man is dead he was a good character and i was secretly hoping that there was nothing in the box and the irish man had the opposite of the hatian's power, you know giving back memories. i wonder if the new orleans chick saw someone use their powers she could do them too, kinda like peter but in a different sense. who else is a little tired of the whole nikki/jessica struggle for power? from the finale i thought that jessica was gone but if she wasn't they would kill nikki and she is way too hot to kill. the episode was awesome so there. :)

eh...I'm finding that in each episode there are parts I really like...and parts I really don't. Still at least I'm not bored.

The Good
~Matt and Nathan....Matt's taking stupid to a new level, but I do like the interaction between the two. Plus that scene of them facing their biggest nightmares was very revealing
~Monica and Micah....it's an interesting dynamic between the two of them. Once that I like a lot.

The Meh
~Peter in Ireland. Aside from the box being generally boring (at least the parts of it we saw) I'm reading for him to get a move on.
~Elle (is that her name?...I might have made that up...whoever Kristen Bell was) It has some potential with "daddy" and how her story line plays out...I'm reserving judgemet.

The Bad
~Matt is an idiot...I just don't see why they want us to dislike him so much. Esp if the kid really was his, and the whole deal with Molly....I just don't get it.
~Hiro....get him back to New York...or at the very least our time period. I just don't see how him staying in feudal Japan is anything but a waste of time.

Overall...okay. 7/10

sylar is not last year. sylar is still awesome. they just need a filler villian because zach is gone for half the season going off and being mr.spock. kristen is hot and that makes her less threatening. she doesn't have the sheer evilness of sylar. hate to say it but kristen will probally fizz out just like what's going on with nikki right now.

There's wasn't enough Peter just like all the other epidsodes. They need more Peter, and the girl chasing him. More Claire, her dad and her boyfreind. Please don't kill Claire's dad!


Too much boring story, like Mikah and the girl he lives with. Nikki is now boring also. I like Hiro, but his story is getting too much screen time, making it boring.
