Anybody else excited Chloe snapped at Clark tonight? I thought it was about time she told him off, and didn't drop everything to run and help him out. I think this will be a good progress for Clark if he isn't so dependent on Chloe anymore.

Oh it was cathartic! I've been waiting two years for that!

ClarkMan and Chloe are still connected, it was probably ClarkMan that Chloe wanted to see after her 'cure.'

Wow, 7-0, we all want BDA to think for himself, and I want chloe to advance her career.

i like that she snapped, but i don't think it was some relationship altering deal. i think she was under stress, and he was being inconsiderate. He deserved it, but it's not like she's never gonna help him again.

Even when she tried to tell him she was busy, he kept talking like she wasn't upset, ignoring her. so yeah, he deserved it.

I loved it.
Clark will figure things out on his own and Chloe can work on her career.

Oh, he does need to "fly solo" but I still think he needs Chloe, emotionally if nothing else. Though he probably isn't admitting it to himself.

I loved that scene it was awesome! and clark was speechless! with all those superpowers of his, well he should be able to solve a thing or two on his own. Don't you think?

Yeah, that was huge. He'll still go to Chloe sometimes, and he should. But That was awesome. And really overdue.

agreed,he jus rush in and even went to her cpu hisself and kept talkin. He was inconsiderate and needed that yellin but it wont change much, she was under stress and didnt have time for it.We knew it was bound to happen wit clark jus bargin in like that, all it showed was clark realizin that he isnt the only 1 wit problems. This wasnt to get clark to fly solo but to get him to realize his problems arent the only problems.Team chlark will be back intact next week :p ,they jus bump heads in cure thats all

I think she should have done it a long time ago. It would have made Clark much less co-dependent.

I agree!

In the scene later where she tells him "if he wants to save her, let her go, " that showed she was attempting to cut him off emotionally more than anything else. Yet that's where their connection seems the strongest. their bond is co-dependency on one another. Chloe is Clark's "support system" and he has been hers on a number of occasions and this episode made it clearer to him that he needs to step it up on his side if he wants to "save her" but NOT "let her go".

I didn't like how Chloe acted like a b**ch to Clark, but it is long, long, loooooooooooong overdue that he finally starts doing his own research. I will be pissed if next episode she goes back to doing that. Let Clark start investigating his own stories and keeping to himself. I want that. I want him to show he could be the reporter we expect him to be. This season everyone has their own business to take care of. Clark has the stuff with Jor-El, MM, Kara, and that medallion. Chloe has her meteor freak powers and her job. Lana has her Lex spying and hiding her crimes.

About time.

Reminds me of 'infected Chloe' telling Clark he's sick of him being a user- because he has been using Chloe.

The Mount Olympus comment was perfect. Chloe has pledged 24/7 of her life to Clark and taken career and relationship hits for it. She had a right to be a little hot that he doesn't even check in to see what might be going on in her world before he dumps his world on her.

The probelm was she was blowing him off for personal reasons not because she was busy working.

Any other time she's just happy to drop whatever work related stuff she's doing to help google for Clark.

I think Clark roundly deserved that paddling from Chloe. :D It's about time he started to think on his own. And it's time for Chloe to get in gear and move forward. I'm sure Clark will go to her on occassion, but, hopefully, he'll think twice before taking her for granted anymore. IMO, he will probably seek a lot more of these answers from Lana, now that she is "out to save the world". What those answers will be, and whether they will help or hinder him, remains to be seen.

But I am excited for Chloe! It looks as though she is now getting on track toward her final destiny, whatever that may bring. I would hope that it's nothing but good; after all, her greatest power is in her "heart". How can that be bad? I know the writers could screw it up, but I'm gonna hope for the best.

After so many years of stalling and stagnation, I never thought the writers could actually hook me back in to watching Smallville on a regular basis. Even get me to actually care what's gonna become of the other characters on this show, but they kinda have. (Granted, it's a cautious thing, but it's there, all the same).

Kudos to the writers. Keep it coming. I want to see more!

I doubt it, too. But maybe Lois will and kick some Luthor butt!!

Sorry, Minela, I know you like Lex. I do too, but I've been waiting on this confrontation for forever already.
