I think he did an amazing job tonight!
Granted...I'm not a Chimmy fan at all....but if you didn't get a little chocked up during that last scene....:\ . I'm not ashamed to admitt I teared up a bit! He is awesome at intense scenes like that....and when you throw Allison in the mix (who is also great with emotional scenes) It was just heart wrenching. You could see how much Jimmy loves Chloe....they both did an incredible job. Almost makes me wish Chimmy wasn't ending.....just almost! ;)

That was a very well done scene indeed.

I kind of feel Chloe is trying to take the easy way out instead of confronting Jimmy and telling him what she needs to tell him

The only reason why they wanted them to break up is so they could see how Kara and Jimmy could do.

AA did a great job. I agree that the only reason they broke up Chimmy is to see how Karimmy would do.

I can't believe Chloe did that. She acted just like Clark did with Lana. Lana asks Clark what secret he's keeping, Clark looks at her blankly. Jimmy asks Chloe and she pulls "a Clark". I can't believe she did. I would think she'd learn from her best friend's mistakes. Oh well, bring on the kimmy or karmmy or whatever they are calling it these days.

Yeah, Aaron did a nice job. Chloe's actions didn't make much sense, but it gives an excuse to get Jimmy together with Kara, which could also be a lot of fun. Jimmy is definitely the most likeable character on the show at this point.

Your coyote is scary. It keeps looking at me.

I guess Clark rubbed off on her as far as relationships go

I don't think chloe's actions were weird. But as someone has mentioned, it was kind of an easy way out. The way she said things, and did you notice she nodded when he said "i can't", which just tells me that she did everything in that conversation so he would break up with her. Its kind of like she was too tired to fight it, so she just let him punch her. *shrugs* I don't think she didn't care, but she knew it was coming.

I mostly went "awwww" when jimmy asks "whats going on chloe?" and then she says um, and tears up....That was sad :(
Overall I thought it was a great scene.

I know...I think thats when I started tearing up...when Chloe wants to tell him...and she cant, and you can see how much that hurts him. He says something like "if you cant say it....use sign language, or something." Then...at the end of the scene where he says their relationship had been a fluke, and Chloe agrees....the look on Aarons face was beyond sad. Thats why I think he deserves a nod for the episode. He made me cry! haha.

I agree adromindon, Clark has definitely rubbed off on Chloe as far as relationships go. Too bad for you Chloe, you let a good guy go. On to Kara, Jimmy.

By the way, is it just me or is that Coyote staring at you, too? Starting to freak me out.

Adromindon, I was talking about one of the avators. One of the members has a coyote as his pic and it's pretty creepy. Look on the first page of this thread.

I agree, Aaron Ashmore did an excellent job tonight. It was hard to watch, because it was so sad. Yet, that's also what made it so endearing.

I think the scene rocked beacause it was AM and AA together,
I dont think AA could have a scene like that with LV ..
AM and AA are just amazing together in emotional scenes ..
I hope they bring them back together,
because it would be a shame to not use these two amazing actors together ..
I think they bring out the best in eachother when they are doing emotional stuff ..
amazing!

I kind of have to agree a bit. I mean...I love Chloe...easily my favorite character on the show (check my Avi!)

But....Jimmy is the one I really felt for in this scene. He has been an amazing boyfriend to her....and he deserved some sort of explanation. So...It did upset me when Jimmy was pouring his heart out to her...and she couldn't say anything? Give the poor guy something! It really broke my heart when he said the relationship had been a "fluke." You could see he was trying to get her to say something positive about their relationship...to have her fight for them. so when she says "Yea, maybe you're right" The look on Aarons face.....it was just so sad!!! :(

Ok....back on track, Aaron did an amazing job in this scene...they both did. I felt horrible for them both....but Jimmy did get more of my sympathy. Only because he has made so many efforts to be there for her....and to have it end that way, with Chloe pretty much telling him she cant trust him....it was just a horrible way to go. We all knew it would end...but i was hoping they could be friends...or somethign, but it doesnt look like that will happen any time soon. Especially when Jimmy goes after Kara.

Chloe always seemed more mature than Jimmy. She always seemed older, maybe wiser (except for this last episode, obviously). I think he might work better with Kara. They seem like they are more on the same level.

Aaron Ashmore and Allison Mack both rock at intense scenes like that. Their acting in that scene made it the best scene IMO of the season so far.

I can't believe Chloe did that. She acted just like Clark did with Lana. Lana asks Clark what secret he's keeping, Clark looks at her blankly. Jimmy asks Chloe and she pulls "a Clark". I agree with what Clark and Chloe did. Why? Because neither Lana or Jimmy are people that I would trust or want to know my darkest secret of being an alien.

Are we forgetting that Jimmy hates meteor freaks? Why the hell would telling him she's a meteor freak be a GOOD thing when he's JUST shown himself to be extremely intolerant.

Just like Lana. It's not even so much that they'd tell other people, those 2 people ARE the "other people" that you don't want your secret to be told TO.

edit:

Just read some more replies (I couldn't wait to read them all before posting what I did above. :P ). I just want to reiterate: Jimmy hates meteor freaks. The only thing Chloe is keeping from him is that she's a meteor freak (and that Clark's from Krypton, but that's not HER secret).

If someone talked to you extensively about being homophobic or how Gays are subhuman or something like that, and you were secretly gay, would you come out of the closet if they pressed you about revealing your secret? Hell no.

^^I just came up with that analogy, and I'm patting myself on the back cause that really fits. :P Just sub "Homosexual" in for "Meteor Freak" whenever Jimmy was talking in the past 2-3 episodes, and pretend Chloe is gay. Now fast forward to this scene and see if you think she should act differently.
