Who were Lana and Clark Talking about?

In the Barn when Clark comes in and Lana is on the computer, and the scene goes

Lana: you're home early, I thought Chloe was helping you to track down Kara's Crystal.

Clark: Lana has she opened up to you about anything? Maybe something thats been bothering her?

Lana: No shes been working 24-7 to impress that wonder boy editor

Clark: she was researching a story, about Dr. Knox.......

Who in the world are they talking about?
Kara? Chloe? Lois?

because it was my knowledge that no one but Lex and Clark (of the main characters) knows Lana is even alive! So why would any of them confine in Lana? Did i miss something? Was there a scene I'm forgetting? Can someone help me out here? I'm so confused! :\

Clark was asking about Chloe. I'm confused too b/c they have not let Chloe know that Lana is alive...

Thats what I thought, he was asking about Chloe! awww thats LAME we didn't even see Lana and Chloe's reunion, that sux!!

I thought it did suck to, but the episode was rushed as it was. So, it would be a waste to see the hugging and Lana repeating everything to Chloe we already know. Same as with Kara knowing Lois.

^^ I know but still ya know!! A reunion of some sort could have been worked in, i just really wanted to see Chloe's reaction to finding out that one of her best friends ISN'T DEAD! lol, I thought it was going to make for an interesting scene! i donno! I love both Characters and I like to see them in scenes together, and this one in particular would have been such a great one! :)

Not to worry, it's not your fault; it was a bit sloppy on the part of the writers, but here is my take:

Toward the end of Fierce, Lex tells Lana that her name's been cleared and she's a free woman. Later in the episode, she and Clark are walking hand in hand through the corn festival, in public. I think we are supposed to assume that since her name's been cleared, she's not in hiding anymore. That line implied that she's already made the important reunions off-screen.

Yeah, when I heard that I just assumed they had reunited in the last episode because I missed it. That's just lame that they didn't even show it; Chloe made a huge deal about Lana's death in Bizzaro!

It's probably going to be on deleted scenes. Just like the Lana & Chloe reunion in S4 at the courthouse with Lois.

Yeah, I agree the new writers not only suck arse but they're lazy too! I swear these writers just pull a story out of their armpits and doesn't watch previous eppies or seasons.

As long as the next Lana and Chloe scene isn't: "OMG, Lana! You're alive!", I think I can let this slide. Otherwise, it's just sloppy.

Who am I kidding, I'll probably let it slide regardless - I'm a sucker for SV - but I hope they don't try to play that game. Unless, of course, Lana knows about Grant because Clark told her about Chloe's dilemma...but that's such a confusing waste of story time. I hope they just had an off screen reunion.
