I'm glad we didn't have to watch Dr. Knox do that procedure from the DC. I think they've gone a little overboard with those kinds of scenes, but im glad they took it of tonights episode.

We'll probably get it as a deleted scene on the DVDs, but yeah I thought it would be a little over the top for airing. Although, they did show the zoner ripping out peoples backbones - yuck!! Still, I'm with you on them cutting that - no pun intended. Does anyone else wonder why CK did not put the people to sleep before "operating"??? You would think it would have made his job easier.

The simple version...because he didn't care about his victims. He only cared about making his girlfriend immortal, whatever the cost. Plus, he was based in a seemingly-abandoned section of town, so the chances of hearing anything were next to none.

Yeah, but it's gotta be easier to take organs when people aren't kicking and screaming.

Yea, the anisthesia does play a prominent role, not just for the patient but for the surgeon as well. I am glad they took out the gross part though.

I'm glad they took it out too. I was squinting my eyes, waiting for it when I was watching. You'd think having a horror movie freak boyfriend that drags you to every horror movie that comes out would make you a little less squeamish..

I'm glad too... especially since they added that creepy classical music. *shudders*

I really wish that scene would've been in there. This show is grown up enough to show a little fake guys. I can guarantee if Smallville had a 9 PM timeslot it wouldn't have been cut. I still prefer it 8, I'm just saying. Hate to see scenes that have more impact when the gore is left in get cut just for the censors.

I also wish they kept it. The ripping of the spines was much worse. They barely showed anything in the DC. I don't even think you saw blood as he was cutting her. The kidney (or whatever he removed from her) wasn't that bloody either.
