View Full Version : Who is the enemy- MM or Kara?

Who will Clark choose to trust? He continues to work with the MM and Kara flew away in a hissy fit. Why exactly did Zor El send Kara to earth, do we know? Perhaps it was to retrive the medallion that he left when he visited. I wonder if he was in cahoots with Zod? I know this, DC Comics won't put up with Superman destroying Supergirl or even Supergirl being evil. I would think that Kara and MM will patch things up and shake hands and Jor El can get Clark off of the farm and into the FOS for his training without worrying about Kara. She will probably move to Venice Beach and hang out there and fit in.

Neither, its just some storylines to create conflict and turmoil that will play itself out to a good ending to the end of the season.

why didn't clark say "Hey, I know you're my cuz and all, but mm saved my life like 5 times last season -- how can I not trust him?"

They're both good, so I don't see the point of this storyline.

Even if Zor-el was evil i really don't think kara is, nor mm

There is something I don't trust about both of them.
I mean MM trusts Lionel and we all know how well those luthors can be trusted.
And Kara well how can you trust someone who's hair is so perfect all the time.

Well Clarks first assignment from Jor-El to begin his training was to keep an eye on Kara

Plus Jor El thought she was so much of a threat that he postponed Clark's FOS training and told him to go deal with Kara. I think he said "she is more of a danger than you think she is" or something ominous.

he basically did. that's why she flew away.

The only reason Clark is not at the FOS training is that Jor El told him to take care of Kara because she is more dangerous than he thinks. Well now Clark has to find the crystal from Kara's ship and I'll guess that they show up at the same time and so does the MM and Clark will have to decide on the spot who to trust and he will trust Kara. Kara has already saved his life so how evil can she be? Does he think she was going to kill him as a baby if she found him?
Neither is the enemy,
Kara is too hot to be evil,
and I mean MM is black! How can you say no to a black guy, even if he is alien!

"It's all a big misunderstanding..."
I bet Kara's the one who's mistaken, though. Daddy's girl.

I am thinking that MM is concerned that Zor-El was so evil and he like Jor-El is thinking that she is inheriantly evil because her father was.
I am guessing that Zor-EL did not act evil around Kara thus she has no reason to believe her father was evil. Ethier way they will need to work it out because Clark has to make a mondo decision that will cause him to make an enemy or find a way to spread peace between them

I don't think either one is the enemy. It's probably a big misunderstanding and Clark has to be the one to mend things. Good luck to him because Kara can't stand still. Another reason for Clark to learn to fly so he can chase her down.

agreed..Clark will have to show them that no one is evil..
as LONG as Clark doesn't stay one sided, that isnt like him...
MM can fly....
well, Clark CAN chase her...he has superspeed, BARELY second only to Bart( remember eventually, when he uses his ture power, he'l be able to be WAY faster, and FLY...) so, he could chase her , although she doesn't necessairly have to land......but, MM is being a bit judgy...and Kara....things need to be patched up quick...as long as it doesn't come to something like a big fight...we know Clark can beat Kara( even with her flying, he's fought flyign people before, and his powers he'l use to better uses) , but that wont pass....and, we prob don't , or shouldn't have that, though it would be fun to watch ...we need another superfight, but that paticular one, i'm not really supporting..if it happens, it happens

I really don't like Clark asking what happened to Knox, MM saying "Don't ask, don't tell," and Clark being OK with that. If Clark is going to hand people over to a comparative stranger, he ought to know what's going to happen to them. Shades of Guantanamo! Clark didn't ask Jor El about MM, did he? He is just taking MM's word that he worked for Jor El.
And don't say, "Well, in the comics..." Clark doesn't read the comics. Except Warrior Angel.

I want to believe that it was a misunderstanding but when Kara didn't respond to MM's accusation that her father had done what he did(whatever he did) and flew off , it seemed like she wasn't about to mention anything about what he was referring to in hopes Clark wouldn't find out why Zor-El did what he did(whatever he did).

is there mythos, or whatever you call it, about zor-el, or is this a smallville creation?

If Kara is in the dark the crystal will expose all. She probably will have instructions to kill the baby Kal El and she will do like Clark and ignore her father. That's my guess. That makes Jor El and MM correct in their fears and Kara will learn the hard way about her father that he was indeed a villain.

MM said it's Zo-El who was the traitor.Jor-El told Clark to stop his training to watch his cousin. So,it must be pretty serious.Clark has to find the key before Kara that's for sure.

I think the lesson here is that just because your parents were evil doesnt make you evil. That theme has been throughout Smallville the entire series

I also think that both are good. Even if Zor - El was bad - that doesen't mean that Kara is the same!
Yes, why didn't Clark told Kara that he trust both or that he is confiused about everything etc.
We must wait, look and see......

I think Clark was not sure who to trust so he could not tell her he trust them both and if he had Kara would have thrown a fit and run out anyway she seems to be very imature at times

When he is being forced to believe in that creep Lionel Luther it wold mess with anyone's mind. He needs to go back to Jor El and have a bit of a father and son dialogue. Of course, last time he treated Jor El like a rented mule. He seems to still be in teen rebellion when it comes to his father. He needs for Jor El to clear up the issue of Kara's crystal. I'm certain it will contain her instructions for after she reaches earth and it will probably tell her to kill Kal El.

I've never followed the comics. Isn't it established in the mythos that MM is a good guy? I mean he did save Clark's life and helped him with Bizarro and now Dr. Knox. Is there any legitimacy to him being an enemy? I think the only question is; is Kara a friend or a foe?

It is totally going to be Kara. I can't wait to see what happens with this. I think Kara is a bit misguided like any teen about the family history. She thinks she is doing what is right, but she is sooo wrong.

I agree but I wonder how they're ever going to get rid of her. I don't want her on this show permanently. Let her have her own show.

My dad would have slapped that look off of my face. Clark had better be careful or Daddy will take away his super powers again.
