So do we know why Curtis Knox has this power of immortality?
The meteor shower happened much later obviously...so its not a meteor induced ability.

For about half a second I thought his power was tied to the watch.... but then I got over it.

Due to the fact we're dealing with a fictional universe, it could just be a "freak of nature" (no pun intended), similar to the events in the first "Highlander" film.

I was wondering that too. Dean Cain was such a fun vilian, but to me they kinda just brushed over EVERYTHING about him. They just seemed to use him to get some action into the episode and bring more drama to Chloe (not that that's a bad thing because normally she isn't a dramatic character). But they didn't even really explain about the patients he killed like why them and other stuff. It was just too rushed or something.

im assuming the meteor rock exposure messes with different parts of the body.
he was collecting body parts from those people...i guess he needed to replace all of her body parts with meteor infected ones to make her live forever.
but as far as we know meteor rocks werent around until the meteor shower. (except in china perhaps o_O)

oh why oh why couldn't tptb just tie him to the watch!and have a really good ending with the watch being smashed and he ages a thousand years with. Since the writers seem to be loosing the touch of writing an original script!

Possibly, but unlikely. It would be great if he was a recurring character. I thought his story was a little sad when you find out at the end why he's doing what he's doing. Except, why would that make him Jack the ripper?? Was he still killing people to try and save people he loved at that poing, but without success?

I didn't even think about that. I was just like "what's his deal about punctuality".
