Ok..so, who cried themselves to sleep over Chimmy's break-up?

I just don't get it! they were both fine a minute before. Jimmy even made her that beautiful memory box and everything. HOW SWEET IS THAT?! And then the next thing you know Jimmy "couldn't do this anymore." WTF? TPTB need to understand that this break-up can't last forever!!

Well, it was inevitable. Jimmy ends up with Lucy Lane, so he had to eventually break up with Chloe.

I don't think she went there to break up with him. It was just something that happened. When he started asking questions, realizing that she didn't have answers for him they both realized that it wasn't going to happen.

I thought it was sad but to a certain extent, they keep doing hypocritical stuff, like Clark and Lana did, and Chloe actually thought hed be cool with her not telling him what she was feeling? Lana had a dislike, mussunderstanding about meteor freaks/people with different abilities, but now she dosent, whos to say Jimmy wont be the same for the one he loves? Shed probably do the same thing if she was in his shoes. I wonder if theyll get back together though.

Not me. Never really saw them as a couple , so I wasn't vested in it. To me it always felt like a FWB type of relationship, no emotional attachment what so ever, but thats just me...I'm sure others saw it diffrent.

What would Chloe tell him? She don't understand her power to begin with either. She knows she can heal, but right now she is just trying to figure it out herself. Given enough time to deal with it and learn more about it, she can be more honest. Until then, she really can't explain it to him when she don't know whats going on.

What better boyfriend could a girl get? I mean, let's look at this from a logical point of view.

Clark has major issues, wants to be normal, keeps all sorts of secrets, will outlive you, is obsessive when it comes to love.

Lex, although he loves deeply and storongly, he will snap eventually and maybe kill you.

Oliver, is a workoholic who has a busy hero life and won't have time for you.

Jimmy, devoted, nice, funny, imaginative, freaky (in the good way ;), whip cream anyone?), loyal and in love. Not to mention I find him really cute.

That scene was so cheesy and it felt like it went on forever. Am I the only one who likes Mack and Ashmore have no chemistry? I think Kruek and Rosenbaum are more believable as a couple than they are.

chloe wasnt a hypocrite. she urged clark to tell lana his secret because he was truly in love with her, and believed she was the "one", also telling lana would save her from lex.

now chloe has never labeled jimmy as the "one' or her true love, he is just a boyfriend. Meaning she isnt going to tell every boyfriend she has that she is a freak.

So in MY EYES there is a huge differences.

Agreed,chloe likes jimmy but she never said she was in luv wit him.So its not the same as clark needin to tell lana,chloe even agreed wit jimmy about the ship bein a fluke/not worth savin.Cause tho she cares for him she realize he isnt the 1,plus wit his constant freak comments I can see why she chose not to tell.

I thought that scene was so unbelievably sad! I didn't see it coming at all...it looked like it was going to be this sweet moment where Jimmy shows Chloe how much he loves her...and then it ends in a break up?? The funny thing is...I was never a Chimmy fan, until they broke up. Jimmy was so sweet...and it's obvious he loves her alot, but the poor guy has had enough...and I don't really blame him. I didnt like the "Fluke" part at all. I think Jimmy was trying to get Chloe to fight for the relationship...to have her say "Our relationship wasnt a fluke!" So when she agrees with him...he looks like someone shot his puppy. It was sooooo sad! :(

The writers do not want chloe to be happy.
They would rather show chloe crying and hurt than her happy with Jimmy.
Jimmy truly loves Chloe and Chloe giving Jimmy the brush off and not letting Jimmy in the plot .....is just ....bad writing.

I wanted to Chloe and Jimmy break up. But sometime Chimmy grows on me and is very cute. And that whole scene and how they showed how they got together and that whole speech Jimmy gave Chloe was very cute then the way he just took it all back by calling it a fluke was a little cold for my taste.

The memory box was cute, but Chloe does not love Jimmy. Even if she as yet doesn't understand her meteor ability, she would have said something to JO imho. She had the perfect opportunity to at least say to him, "....I'm meteor infected," and chose not to.

I guess I can understand JO's reaction's. His girl is withdrawn and distant, she's been known to run all over tha place with someone else, apparently confides in someone else, he simply didn't want to take it any more. Hmmm, does he love her? Doesn't sound like love to me....infatuation perhaps.

I don't think she was agreeing wioth him at all. She was clearly hurt by what he was saying she just knew she couldn't tell him her secret at this point.

After she said we can't have things back to normal I thought she was going to tell him even though I knew from spoilers that she wasn't then Jimmy goes off on her about not having a normal life.

I agree w/ her not telling him her secret because of his Freak comments. But I really didn't see her agreeing with him about the fluke comment. The way she was reacting him before when he gave her that speech indicated that she really did cae about him a lot.

Whether it was luv or not I don't know. But I don't think Chloe thought their relationship was a fluke.

I think Chloe was digging the knife into the wound at that point. Everyone seems very mad at Jimmy...but Chloe played her part. It was obvious (to me any way) that Jimmy only said the "fluke" line because he was upset...and Chloe new that. You could see it on her face....and I think she could have tried to make him feel a little better. Said something encouraging....or anything. The writers are making Chloe seem cold, and i dont like that. This scene was proof of that. When he says it's been a fluke....she could have said, "you know thats not true Jimmy..." or anything, but she said "Yea, maybe you're right." It just seemed like an unnecessary blow to Jimmy. It was already bad enough...why twist the knife? I guess I kind of understand...Chloe wanted to make sure this brake was permanent....and she definitely acheived that.


I agree Jimmyolseonblues, they just dont seem to want Chloe happy....right now i feel bad for Jimmy, but I'm sure I will have tons of sympathy for Chloe when the writers make her sit back and watch Jimmy get together with Clarks cousin. :(

That seems true...I think if Chloe truly loved Jimmy she would have fought for him. It's obvious he loves her a lot though....and thats what makes it so sad. But in Chloe's defense...Jimmy didnt' make it easy for her to come clean about her powers...he pretty much thinks meteor infected people are the scum of the earth....so I don't know if i would be in a hurry to tell him.

The way I see it Chloe was acting out on her Clark induced problems with rejection. She preferred to reject her boyfriend than him to reject her (as a meteor freak) and subject her to pain, hurt and anguish - to her this was the better/best option.

Only thing is everytime Chloe does this she shoots herself in the foot and pushes away people that were not going to reject her and would in fact support her.

The whole Jimmy hates meteor freaks was a forced storyline introduced in the last episode as a plot device for the Chlimmy breakup. Prior to this Jimmy had no feelings either way on m-freaks. Even with him having these new feelings, I think he would have understood and supported Chloe if she'd only given him a chance and told him the truth.

I didn't. Good for Jimmy. He's been treated like a piece of meat. He wants a little Chloe time, and bam...Chloe has to do a story of a guy who got 4 eyeballs as a result of the meteor shower.

They already kinda broke up once anyway, so this wasn't...it wasn't a big deal. I wasn't invested in the relationship anyway, though I think the Jimmy character adds a little bit of humor thats been missing from the show.
