When did Kara talk to Jimmy? It seemed like she knew him when she got to the planet...

And I thought Chloe didn't know that Lana was back? Clark asked Lana about if Chloe was ok or had told her anything about what was going on and Lana just said "she's been working like crazy"....

I noticed this too! Maybe Lana is spying on her as well? :rolleyes:
The more I think about it, the more BIG plot holes come out, but they were put in very quietly.

ie. Lana talking about Chloe, Kara knowing Jimmy and Lois

well Kara knowing Lois wasn't so weird, because she punched her out when she found Kara's ship. Although I'm not quite sure why she is looking for Lois... can anyone clear that up??? I just can't figure the other two. though, unless i missed... like an episode or something...

I know they have different writers for the different shows but you think they would watch each other's episodes... and you think the editors would look for something called continuity... where are they hiring these people from Trent University ??

I also thought it was a little weird that Chloe is trying to get rid of her meteor ability but the very first thing she suggests to Knox is that she can cure his love with her ability...

I really don't see the problem with Kara knowing Lois and Jimmy, or talking to Lana about so called 'personal things'. You do know they're living in the same house right? :) This episode probably takes place a week, maybe more after 'Fierce', I think that's more than enough time to get to know Lois and Jimmy better or at least talk to them. Wouldn't Clark or Chloe introduce them to her? Or is Kara supposed to stay locked up in the barn and ignore everyone else in Clark's life? :p

Last week Kara said she had a job at the Talon. She could have met most of the population of Smallville by now. And doesn't Lois live at the Talon?

I supposed its entirely true that she could have me them all at the Talon but a few words in the script could have tied things up a ton better. Its never a good thing when the audience is sitting there going "huh?":confused:

The only plot inconsistency I had a real issue with was that they had the Chloe/Lana reunion off screen. I think that was a big enough event that it should have received some screen time.

I think it would have been easier to have Kara go up to Jimmy at the DP:
"Hey, you're James right? Did you hear about a girl around here, Lois I think? She took a video of a spaceship. Could you help me?"


That makes a lot more sense than "Hey James, where's Lois? I need to talk to her".

Remember that in Kara, Lois was at the facility where Kara's ship was being held. Then Kara and Clark came swooping in to stop the self destruction. They would have helped Lois out there.

And Kara and Jimmy gave each other a lot of looks in Fierce, I'm sure she must have talked to him at least once before this episode in OffScreenville.

I gotta defend smallville on this one.

Lex said she's a free woman...she did tell Clark to keep her existence until she made sure she can make her grand return.

However I am surprised they didnt show it. I dont know. We'll see the next time they interact.

-the whole "i'm an alien and sorry about all the stupid crap i pulled on red K" conversation
-when did kara become bff's with everyone in smallville?

just to name a few... can we just have an episode that fills in all these plot holes?

I am confused when did Chloe find out Lana is alive?
And why does Lana knows so much about the new editor..and about Chloe's work load?
Is she spying on all of them?..She doesn't want to let Chloe know that she is alive but she knows so much of what is going on with everyone..Ah...that is bogus..

Did she ask to speak to Lois? I was distracted so I couldn't hear everything. The only time she met Lois on screen is when she knocked her out in Kara.

A real plothole is how Lana bugged the mansion. Lex in Prototype knew that Lana was sneaking around when he made his "cat" comment. So how did she bug the place without him knowing?

You're right. I was talking this over with my boyfriend tonight and realized she said she would tell Chloe once her name was cleared.

As for Lana bugging the mansion, I assume it has something to do with the people she was talking to on the computer. She sent a message saying "The money was transferred" - maybe she's paying someone on the inside to bug the mansion without Lex knowing.

^^it was the tech people's fault, there is a way to have the lines put in a telepromper and fed into a two-way mirror on the lens of the camera so that he (Dean) can stare directly into the lens, at you (the audience) and read his lines and it will appear that he is just saying them lol! its all the backstage people's fault they wanted him to look like a damn fool reading it..poor thing!!! :lol: ....so that was a mistake on their part! it was funny to watch tho!!

ok i like all the plot holes that have come up, i didnt even relize the whole lana chole thing till i read it here but i got on tha ti havent read yet.

did they say this and i missed it, how in the hell is DK immortal, they never tied that up. He just is...shouldnt there be a reason

No kidding. I felt like I missed an episode. They really dropped the ball on making her suddenly friends with everyone.

My main complaint this season is the lack of capturing important moments onscreen. Chloe's recognition of Lana being alive is one of the biggest things. As miffed I am about the lack of Lionel, I'm guessing they will explain his disappearance. But many things need explaining and I hope we get the explanations:

1. Who helped Lana escape into that truck?

2. Did the person who helped her into the truck also help buy that secret apartment? If not then who?

3. Is there an unknown Kryptonian on Earth?

4. Who has Lionel? Was he taken by a possible Kryptonian on Earth?

5. Why is Zor-El a threat? Could Kara be trusted or was she misled by Zor-El?

6. What did Lex give Agent Carter? Was it anything important or is it information he doesn't hold in high regard?

7. What does Lex plan to do with Kara? What are his objectives now that he is "changed"? What does he know about where Lana has been spending the $10 million?

8. Chloe's abilities. Too many questions here. Why was she considered one of the chosen few by Dr. Knox?

9. What is Kara's blue crystal such a threat? Or were MM & Jor-El lying about the crystal/Kara?

10. Who really paid that guy with cancer to admit to "killing" Lana and taking the heat for Lex? It wasn't Lionel because Lana in Noir proved that she didn't trust him and used Lionel being a threat to Clark as her motive for marrying Lex (she didn't say that Lionel used her fear to help Clark). And if she didn't trust him, then Lionel couldn't have made arrangements in advance to pay that guy off. And we know Lionel had no time between seeing Lana blow up and arriving at the dam to make those arrangements and find someone who would take the fall. His primary objective after Clark stormed off was to stop Clark from killing Lex.

I know Clark has done it a thousand times before... but how does he superspeed into the DailyPlanet without people thinking he appeared out of thin air?

Same way anyone who would uncover his secret either becomes rendered unconscious before he arrives or comes up with a plausible explanation all on his own.

Lex is highly suspicious of Clark. When he comes in with super strength after being hypnotized Lex says "it's the hypnosis, that's why you're so strong", or when Bizarro breaks in to the cell he goes "the phantom, you're in Clark" not "aha, I always knew something was up."

i could be wrong, but in the last episode didn't jimmy encourage chloe to find out what was going on with the meteor freaks for her story? and then this episode he told her thats all she ever cared about and he wanted alone time with her...hm

Hey... what the hell is Dr. Knox?? I mean, they kept saying he was immortal... but why?? was he from another planet?? (MM said something to Clark in the end like: I know it's hard loving people from here", referring to Dr. Knox.

So I assume he was an alien? But from where? Why did he come here? What for? Did he have any other powers?

How come they didn't explain any of these??

I would say he's exactly like Vandal Savage from the comics, but just a different character.

Another thing I noticed was how Jimmy talked about the earthquake from season 6. He said the earthquake last fall, when the earthquake was really late spring/early summer of 2006 (Vessel/Zod). The skipping forward (3-4 months) did not happen until Rage.

ManofSteelftw - I think that Jimmy was trying at first to fit in with Chloe's obsession and that's why he kept encouraging and helping her, but in the end got tired of it.
