Since it was said that 9 of them are still alive, in the show, I think we can rest assured that the number has only gone down to eight with the death of Nakumura. He, Linderman, Mr. Petrelli and Charles Deveaux are the only ones who are dead.

This may not be the right thread, but I believe that Charles Deveaux had the power to astral project, that is to go into other places and even times during a dream state. This is a power that Peter picked up from him unconciously when he was taking care of him and is the reason he had those visions of the future explosion and also the reason why he had that dream conversation with Deveaux, because there was someone on either end of the conversation who could astral project.

The only thing that debunks this theory that I can think of is that Peter had the dream about Nathan's accident before he started working for Devaux, but I like to think that he met him in an interview or something before the accident and it just wasn't shown.

I really like that theory but you're right about the whole Peter having it before he met Charles, unless he did meet him once before.
