I really cant figure out what he wants to do.... it seems like he likes maya and her brother I dont think he wants to kill them but maybe work with them until his powers start working again

I'm pretty sure he plans on trying to kill them. I just think it's gonna go very very badly for him because Maya can pretty much destroy him if she goes off when her brother's not around.
^^I'd like to give Sylar a little more credit than that. If he wanted to kill Maya I'm pretty sure he could do it quickly enough that she wouldn't be able to use her ability.
I agree, I think he eventually plans on trying to kill them, but I think for now he's just using them to get back in with Mohinder so he can get his powers back.

I don't think we should give Sylar too much credit. He needs to have some Heroes that are powerful enough that he can't just slice their head open instantly. Now yeah I think he'll try to get his powers back first so he can use the TK forehead cut, but I still don't think it'll turn out well for him. He was freaking out in the car pretty much instantly when Maya started to use her power. I think the effects of it would debilitate him enough that he couldn't just cut her open and eat her brain while she was using the power.

I'm pretty sure that Sylar wants to kill them...Look,what he did to the guy who wanted to call the police...I'm pretty sure he wants to learn more about their powers...Something tells me that wants to find Mohinder too. After that we will say goodbye to the twins. But,if he gets Maya's power and be able to control like Alejendro.OMG,he will be unstoppable:eek:

All car thieves should end up the same way.
Of course I am biased on that matter.

I can't look at your avatar without hearing Stewie say, "Look at my fanny, look at my fanny."
If your car was stolen, though, you'd be far better off wishing that the police catch the person and you get your car back. With the guy being dead and Sylar driving it, it's unlikely that Claire will ever get her car back.

Mine was stolen, and trashed, but I can get the husk of it back. (edit) For only $850 for the tow charges and storage, plus $65 a day.
The ***** is in jail, and she is getting a whole month behind bars and $0 in fines. Sweet deal huh? Crime does pay I guess.

I think Sylar has an intent to kill cause you can just hear the clock ticking like crazy when he found out about them. He is only pretending to help them until perhaps he figures out what's wrong with himself. I mean if he tries to take their powers but can't control them anyways then when he starts controlling them again...who's to say he still has their and Candace's power for that matter. And i don't think he wants to take a risk like that.

I think he need them because his powers are still weak.

He plans on killing them, thats just the way sylar is IMO. Considering her ability is extremely dangerous and she can't control it without her brother, if he wants her ability he will probally want to figure out how to control it once he gets it.

He's just lucky he saw both sides at the same time, now he knows that if he kills her he has to kill him too. He probably will.
One thing I found interesting though was how he used his real name with them instead of calling himself Sylar. That's the first time we've heard him do that since he met Chandra. Maybe it's a precaution in case Maya and Alejandro get in touch with Mohinder when Sylar's not with them, since I don't think he knows his real name. But maybe there's something else behind there...just something I figured I'd throw out there.

Personally i just think he went back to his old name because he technically became Sylar once he began taking people's powers and was trying to live that life. But now that he no longer has those powers (or doesn't have them at the time) he refers to himself as he was once before...just normal Gabriel Gray (except for his power to see how things work which he didn't consider a power at first).

I think Sylar feels a need to get back to Mohinder to find answers / a cure for his problem.

Sylar wants to eat their brains of course and get their powers :( Problem is he can't do it while Maya's conscious because he'll die when her powers are activated. Maybe Sylar will drug them. Maya can't do anything if she's asleep.
As for Sylar using his real name, I think it's symbolic of his superpower not working. When his powers are working, he's Sylar supervillain. Right now, he's just Gabriel, a regular joe.

It seemed to me when sylar found out they were murderers, he felt an instant bond with his fellow killers! Finding out they have powers just made him more excited!

Obviously he's trying to decide if they taste better with ketchup, bar-b-que sauce, or salsa.
Actually I think he has the virus and wants to find a way to get Mohinder to help him.

I agree.....hence him talking about 'Dr. Suresh'......the twins don't know he's referring to the son. But he does, of course.

Maya won't die, I think. Maybe her brother, but how is she gonna control her power then? Maybee Peter learns how to control her......now that would be a symbiotic romance. :p Anyway, I don't think they go through that much trouble introducing the twins, only to kill 'em off.

I read the online comics on the NBC website... it mentioned something about the Mayans believing that the end of the World is coming in the year 2012 (or was it 2008? I forgot) Maybe the twins have something to do with that?

According to the Mayan Calendar, the end of the world will be on December 21st, 2012.

You and ShelbyKent going existential on us?
That's a definite possibility. Either way, it's something to think about, and I definitely took notice of it when he said it, especially after looking at the Sylar watch for a few seconds. I also liked Maya's angel quote there...pretty ironic thing to say to him.
By the way, that avatar is AWESOME.

It's been broken since last season.
It was broken in the coffee shop for example where he killed the waitress lady, whatever her name was.
http://heroeswiki.com/Sylar's_watch
Yes, it was definitely symbolic, but I have to agree with The Frag Man, I don't think the broken watch was supposed to be symbolism since he's had that throughout the whole show (except in six months ago). I think it was more to show that even though he manifested this whole other being named Sylar, in a sense, that this alter-ego if you will is now gone, at least until his powers are returned. Either way, pretty powerful scene.

I think it was why he used his real name, the "Sylar watch" was broken like he is without his powers.

i mean it kind of makes sense to say his name is gabriel i dont think he wants to go around telling people that his name is sylar that name just sounds evil
