8 paintings; 9 alive

There are eights paintings in the series that shows Kaito and Bennet's death, or so Mohinder tells us. But someone makes a comment that there were originally 12 and now there's 9.
What are your thoughts?
Is #9 the killer, the only one to survive, or did Isaac die before he could 'see' the last death?

So minus the three we know (or assume) are dead that leaves 8 plus the photographer.

I don't know what you're talking about; there were 12 people in the photo. Perhaps you missed the white-haired man under Mr. Parkman?

Edit: oh, sorry, the picture is covering up one person. Here is the best picture available, and there are 12 people.

Just throwing this out there, but its never been stated that all of these paintings are gonna depict, in chronological order, the exact people that are gonna die...

IE the painting of HRG...

Also, who knows, maybe a painting could show 2-3 members dead, and then another painting shows Niki doing something, etc etc...random images that string together a larger movement.

I think Mohinder and Niki are gonna be partners, because as Thompson said 'that's how we do things around here'...Mohinder and Bob are working together, and she and Bob are obviously working something out.

I wouldn't be surprised if she somehow ends up embroiled into the whole 'painting' arc.
