Looks like it, or do you think the powers are different

Different. Charlie had a great memory, but she couldn't actually DO anything about it like Monica could.

Monica can mimic any physical motion she sees, Charlie had eidetic memory. Very different.

Exactly... the photographic reflexes.

Yeah I have to say my first thought was Charlie too, but it's pretty clear after you think about it that the power is completely different.

Um... no. Charlie has an uncanny memory.
Monica... I don't get it which is partly why I think it's lame. She sees things on TV and then compulsively does them. It just seems to me that she could see things anywhere and just do them. Like people walking down the street and stuff... ???
Don't get it.
ETA: I guess you could stretch it and say that she has uncanny muscle memory. Anything extraordinary and physical she sees... on TV... she's got it in her muscle memory.
I did think of Charlie b/c she works in food service.

She can accurately mimic what she sees others do. Think of it like Neo watching the Kung Fu movie in The Matrix then immediately knowing Kung Fu.

You mean having it downloaded into his head via that huge plug?

Except with her she watches it and that's how it's downloaded into her brain, right.

Yeah...except it doesn't have to be on tv it could be someone doing something at work or in person...it's just that she saw something a bit more amazing on tv than what you might see in every day life and thus they showed that.
I just love it because think of the possibility's...yeah you wouldn't be the most powerful person but you could do so much stuff. She could be a better swordman than Hiro ever could...the things are endless. Could master all forms of fighting.

Since her powers are pretty much a straight lift of Marvel's Taskmaster, reading his Wiki entry should give you an idea of how they work.

"Eidetic memory, photographic memory, or total recall, is the ability to recall images, sounds, or objects in memory with extreme accuracy and in seemingly abundant volume. The word eidetic (pronounced: /aɪˈdɛtɪk/) comes from the Greek word είδος (eidos), which means "image" or "form".
Charlie Andrews, a waitress featured in the NBC series "Heroes," has an advanced photographic memory as her superhuman power. This is mentioned in the SFX Heroes Special Edition magazine. She first demonstrated this ability when she was able to speak Japanese fluently after reading a Japanese book Hiro had just given her. Sylar, the series villain, later demonstrates mastery of her ability, which he stole from her."-from wikipedia under the topic Eidetic Memory

Yea nice work. Definitely taskmaster. The best ability to have in the real world. Aside from Peter's and Hiro's.

I did think of Charlie b/c she works in food service. I don't think it just has to be on TV. She could be at a gymnastics meet or something and be able to do everything she saw. Or watched a basketball game, anything. It's just seeing it on TV was the way they decided to present it.
