Glad he shaved it off. The boys weren't feeling it!

Welcome to the boards, btw Tasha
Glad he shaved it off too.... but I thought that there was some scarring or something after he shaved it off? At least that is what Adrian hinted at in interviews..... should be interesting to find out more about that....
LOL - Got to love his sons.... no they didn't like the beard ;)

Thank God he shaved it off. All I kept thinking was that he needed a flannel shirt and an ax.
So much more attractive this way.

I'm glad he shaved it too. It looked awful.

He did look pretty bad. But what's worse is he looks so much older than he did last season.

I think thats intentional, to show him going through hell the past few months basically. I can attest from personal experience stress ages you quickly.

I was waiting for him to say "I don't think so Parkman" ;)
I have a beard, my wife wants me to always wear one :D

I think Nathan had a beard to make the ugly face in the mirror look a bit less ugly.

I'm glad he finally got rid of that thing...i mean beards are ok but not on him and not after seeing him clean for a whole season and then looking at him like a bum.

I liked his beard. But he did it for his kids, so I can't disrespect.

I didn't care much for his beard, looked too huge for his face. =)

Unkempt:
1.
a. Not combed: unkempt hair.
b. Not properly maintained; disorderly or untidy: an unkempt garden.
2. Unpolished; rude.
The new word of the day ;)

Thank you!!!
;)
That's incredible, cause the word sounds almost the same in German:
ungekämmt....
Amazing.

I'm partial to clean shaven guys so that beard has to go. JMHO :)
But as part of storytelling, I think the beardwas supposed to show that Nathan was so stoned drunk and so depressed that he couldn't be bothered to shave :(

Yeah, the cliché of the guy who stops shaving when he is having a tough time... It's true actually, I didn't shave since I got dumped.
But that's gotta be the ugliest beard I have ever seen.

I am glad my wife likes my beard, I hate shaving :p
She said she was attracted to me because when we first met, she thought I looked like Dan Haggerty (Grizzly Adams) :)

I knew that he reminded me of someone, I simply couldn't put my finger on it.....

I must admit, I didn't like his new look. The beard and even the hair seemed all wrong. He definitely needed to get both cut but it was good seeing him get rid of the beard. It's a start.
